Today i was shocked to see blackhat lifter is banned, but he was a nice guy helping other members.

His profile says he itself requested to get banned, then i checked his latest posts, i can't find any reason.

Why would anyone request himself to get banned?
Can anyone tell me if you still connect with him?

He does this every few weeks.

Request to get banned so he can focus on his daily job.

Ohh, then we can request to get banned and unbanned both?

There is no telling why someone would request a ban but the most likely reason is to alleviate the distraction of forum access, it can consume time but he can return when he chooses, he will just have to contact support, there are members that have been banned on request in the past, @proxygo did this as a joke once and scared half the members here.

Yes, but, not sure how that works, to be honest, and what are the rules for that.

Not sure how many times we can request it.

Yes, but preferably give us an exact date when you want to get unbanned again.

There is no set number of times to the best of my knowledge but it is not something you want to make a habit of, there are enough justified bans being doled out as it is, and if you need to request a ban on a weekly or monthly basis, it is probably best not to have an account in the first place.
I agree, you either have an account or you don't.

Anyway, I respect everyone’s decisions, I know that BHW can really sometimes be very addictive but business should always be in the #1 place.

There is a parental controls setting in BHW. If you can't resist wasting time online, mods can kick you out until you find something else to do with your life.

I was wondering can you not just block the site if it really is acting as a distraction

I still don't get it.

Why do people request for banned if they can just leave their account inactive?

Why. If you know then tell me. Why. Thanks

I do not know why he thinks self banning will not make him see posts!!!! You do not have to be registered to BHW to read all posts.. So it is a childish move in my option. How the hell can you be addicted to BHW and have to ban yourself to live a normal life. This is a mental issue.
