It's my question: How to write chat messages that convert?

I want to learn copyrighting for chat messages (Instagram, Whatsapp, dating sites ...), but the lessons that I find are usually for writing blog posts or writing emails.

The theory is exactly the same? Or is there better methods for chat messages?

I want to promote CPA offers, probably adult smartlinks.

Thanks

I struggled with the same question.

Well, the best messages are those that do not sell directly.

You have to test A/B/C campaigns to find what works best for you.

You need to understand the person you are talking to.

So it would be a mastery if you connected to their emotions, addressed their concerns and at the same time made them aware of INSTANT benefits.

You must be the actual user of the product, so you can be in their shoes.

But that's only true if they message you first.

If you decide to hit them, you'll probably fail with cold messaging. That technique just sucks.

Personally I would talk to them about some news and blah blah blah, then gain their trust, finally get their e-mail and send proposal in the end.

This process could be broken down into 100 steps probably. Find a coach or spend 2 years practicing direct communications.

Just make sure you approach the right audience.

Here's what I'm planning to do:
- Come up with angles
- Write a couple of message templates for each angle.

My first angle is "I have a better dating site". This one I'll use in dating sites that have builtin chat.

Message templates:
- Hi. This site sucks, I prefer this one to get a date [LINK]
- Hi. I post my naked pictures on this site [LINK], if you want to take a look
- Hi. When it comes to dating, I always get better s*x when using this site [LINK]

I'll be cold messaging everyone in the site. What do you think?

Thats alright, but use different domains for every campaign so you can monitor your results and see what sells best.

Your templates still scream "I desperately try to sell you this site"

Try to sell less, you will succeed more.

I would love at least on example

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you
know a few of the pictures aren't loading correctly.

I'm not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I've tried it
in two different web browsers and both show the same outcome.
check xxxx.com they are the best and show all the pics

@speedy5044 nailed it, but again, a bit too overselling with that two browser thing and links

@feanor remember of what perspective you are sending those messages. you should not post so long messages, you should not be so tech aware to be able to use multiple browsers, etc. but the main idea is very good.

Don't give them a life story, give them a small couple of tidbits, and then a call to action.

just an example so he can follow , its all about thinking outside the box , unlimited opportunities/messages

"Hi, I liked your pics, but we can't talk much on this site because my husband can see my messages here.
Sign up here and just send me your nickname once you're done."

What about this? I like it. It is outside the box :)

I wouldn't take it seriously cause there is a high chance the whole campaign will fail.

depends on how advanced your setup is. if you are doing it manually, make them to ask where you both can talk and then provide a solution to that

Why you say that? Just because it's a dating camp running on chat traffic?

I'll automate it with custom bots, maybe I can add some trigger words like "where", "place", "site", "talk" ...

But I'm still trying to think in more angles to use

not a campaign but 1 to 1 , actually better than campaign , you can get up to more than $100 per conversion (im old school so i dont know the current rates exactly)
but @feanor the husband message is cool idea but depend on what you are using that , and what platform , and your previous message too , if you are not automated and just looking for 1 conversion per day you can test shit , it will work eventually , keep trying
what @lucky.sparks said is right too , sometime change the domain , use different TLD (cheap one) , Adult shit have awsome ROI , keep trying

"Hi <name + surname>. How you doing today?"
"their reply"
"great profile pic, let me know if you like my profile"
"their reply"
"I have more of these on a different platform, actually they allow some other stuff, so there is more fun"
"their reply or silence"
"im sure we would both have a great time there, let me know if you've signed up and send me your link profile"
"thanks"
"their reply or silence"
*next day*
"how are you doing?"
"I have added a new pic"
"also on that platform I mentioned yesterday there is something more waiting"
"hope to see you there soon"

I don't know what value is the adult stuff about other than adult pics. Who cares about some husband, really I think you have this idea from some adult site which has issues with selling anything. I saw it couple times and would never click it. Immediate cockblocker.

If you don't point out what benefits are there for signing up, you're just trying to convince someone to do stuff they have no reason to do.
