In advance, excuse me if I choose the wrong forum, praise to mod to be so kind to move it in this case.

So, recently I'm doing some research on how adsense--> taboola arbitrage works in practice. I know that this topic is known here, and everytime there is a comment about a guy that knows a guy who makes some decent money thanks to this method.

I stumbled upon a website (i promise, its not mine):

restwow.com

Ocourse II found it in native ads like taboola. The ad redirected me to some listing article with 20-25 slides on it, adsense and taboola ofcourse included.

According to similarweb this site has 2mln visitors per month. Whats interesting, 70% of traffic comes from display ads.

So my questions are:

1. Is this a good example of how ads arbitrage is done correctly? Kind of good quality posts and content and loading speed (to be honest its really fast considering this traffic)
2. Another interesting thing is that article that I stumbled upon in taboola redirecting to this site was kind of... different. Different pagination, different category (hidden from the Home Page I think, but not sure about that). Oh, and facebook fanpage has only like 200 likes.

Sorry for my complicated english :P

Hey, seems like we both are on the same journey of spying such websites. I am planning to dive into this by the end of this month, I have got everything ready. And by any chance do you still have the link for that page with pagination pages? If yes, then PM. I am looking into the type of articles being promoted using native ads.

taboola is really hard to get into (long story short some aff manager asked for a Mercedes for our links to appear ) can you take a screenshot of the ads they are running , they are probably cloacking and ads arbitrage is a bitch even with high traffic , i think they are doing CPA which make sense due to the high pay . as i don't see any ads from my location

thats cloacking bro , showing only for US for me (probably other countries too) , and probably showing links of CPA for (IF dude come from here show him this ads) , trust me its CPA not CPC

The articles on the home page - to get approval. The article you landed on with pagination - is the article he is promoting and landing traffic to. Traffic doesn’t land on non-paginated pages as he won’t make money.

Joining taboola is not that hard. Apply for advertisers account first, once approved, ask for publisher account so you can buy and monetize with them, but you don’t have to buy once you get the account.

What about that screenshot is CPA tho? Those ads are display ads.

told you depend on the refereer and location ,
visit it directly from another browser and new location , you will not see anything , they are doing CPA and only that can pay their bills not $0.1 click to $0.2 , they are after the big dogs
Edit : Even its 100% ROI , they are after more , they are a greedy network

Have you actually seen CPA ads on the site though? Or are you just assuming they are showing them for certain countries?

Checked it in tor browser. The ad from adchoices (yes, it shows ads depending on country) is displayed, also taboola below the article is displayed, but didnt see those little windows ads on sides. Maybe its just how tor browser works. I assume you're familiar with the concept of adsense arbitrage? CPA type ads make no sense to me on this kind of website. With proper scale, the difference between CPC and amount of money you will receive with 2,5 ctr rate with adsense and other ad networks could be beneficial.

If you say that there are CPA ads why I dont see them? Or anybody?

ever saw that miracle articles ? you buy this your shit ends ? its similar to those , if someone come from xxx.com/igicgfighveogvhepv/cjfohijouvfr/ show them them this , if its a direct browsser show him some few ads , thats how it works with taboola

Still, that means that this kind of ads arbitrage is profitable in some countries right? Thats what Im talking about. Or maybe you mean that another important criteria is the source, depending if its mobile or pc or what? Why bother with two different versions of the same page instead of making 2 pages, 1 for each method- ads arbitrage and CPA offers?

I checked it on mobile- no ads displayed though.

Edit:

Nvm I checked it. Shady business.

So no profitable taboola-adsense arbitrage?

I think its definitely profitable, because you can still see many people doing it today, those shady sites no matter what they use just they want to maximum the profit.

really hard bro , if you don't believe me get in touch with them with phone , they literally ask for bribe for a link

So the key is to find cheap clicks in taboola campaign? I've never done a campaign in my life. Do I have a choice of websites that offer clicks at specific rates from some panel or do I look for place for my ads through keywords or what?
