You are probably new to Google Adsense, the amount in your rpm won't be added to your earnings.

It's an estimated amount you are likely to earn if you get 1000 pageviews after Google has removed their percentage as far as that cpc and ctr remains constant.

Why are you wasting your time with a keyword that has a horrific CPC of $0.07?

Do the math; you need 1000 clicks to make $2.46.

You need to swap out keywords, ASAP!!!

Actually my blog is in Hindi language, so the cpc is too low in most of the hindi keywords.

Keywords are the foundation of any Internet Marketing campaign, but especially for AdSense.

I never select or target keywords that are unprofitable, what's the point? You're working for nothing; or, you are working for peanuts.

When the OP posted that image, I nearly fell out on the floor!

Under NO circumstances do you choose a keyword that has a CPC of $0.07.

Even if that keyword has 90k volume p/m and the keyword difficulty in Ahrefs is in the 0-10 range, you make that an LSI keyword, NEVER a primary.

There are variables that go into choosing primary keywords, but with AdSense, I rarely choose a target keyword that has a CPC under $2.10.

If it is under $2.10, but not lower than $1.50, it had better have some good volume such as 5k searches per month.

@Crewchief007 thanks much for clarification.

I'm kinda new with Adsense, My site is 80% to finish so i can start bloging and since i joined this forum everyday i learn new thing.

Here come my another question for example as you said above if you choose a keyword with lets say $1.50 CPC and write a content with that keyword and post it in your site and the content get engagement with lets say 10 visitors. If your CPC before have those 10 visitors was $0.06 will CPC instantly spark to $1.50 after those 10 visitors visit your site through searching keywords that you targeted in the content you posted? Or the volume of visitor must be more than that?

The CPC, which is the Cost Per Click is tied to the keyword, not to the visitors.

For example, let's say that the CPC is $2.00, and you get 100 visitors, but only 10 of those visitors click the ads presented by AdSense.

That means your CTR, Click Through Rate is 10%, and the GROSS income for those ten clicks would be $20.00.

After Google takes their cut, they pay you. Your percentage will be either 68% or 51%, depending on if you are doing AdSense for content or AdSense for Search.

In this case, you would receive $13.60.

Thanks much for clarification.

So what happen if you have two pages that have differents keywords? Lets say one page with $1 CPC and the another with $2 CPC, will it work the same? If yes what CPC will be displayed on dashboard?

And what is good page CTR % from your experience with adsense? I heard some people say they get banned when there CTR is too high, your thought will be appreciated on this.

Thanks.

Ehy, may I ask you a couple of questions?
1) which tool is realiable to check the CPC of a keyword? Maybe I'm wrong but even Google Planner seems unrealiable to me these days. I seen some longtail keywords there having a crazy $20 CPC (while the main theme, single keyword, barely reach the $0.20) and no google ads on the google search.

2) If the guy above is working for nothing, as you say... what if he redirect all these people to another site (through a popup or something) which maybe is the same site just in english so he has automatically better keyword CPC? Can this work?

1. Those stats is to give you an idea, they are not fixed or specific and can different things affecting the price. Planner is probably the best tool in this case, considering you are going to advertise using that keyword, so you can plan your ad budget, not revenue from the ads.

The keyword CPC has nothing to do with with what will you earn per click, don’t waste your time building pages for high CPC, this is not how Adsense calculates your earnings.

2. Nothing will happen, redirecting traffic is mostly wasting it.
