What Is Awesome Content

Can anyone explain what awesome content is. it appears to me, awesome content is content from any website that has a lot of links that SE's "like" not sure how a 100-word skeleton page is awesome except for the fact that the site has 5 milllion backlinks. Perhaps we misunderstand who they refer to as the "user", apparently the user is not the person reading the page, but the SE that choices to index it

But if you mean in general, I would say content that is beneficial and useful for readers. Especially if it’s also backed by science.

I guess he means for Google... in which case it means the longer the better. If it’s for the user I’d dare to say the shorter the better... as an end user when looking for something in particular, I don’t need to read 700 words before the actual question is answered, which is something google seems to love...

• Content that has an intro that "hook" the reader right off the bat
• Content that effectively fulfills the user search intent
• Content that offers actionable and compelling tips or advice
• Content that offers an engaging writing style
• Content that offers original and custom graphic and visual elements
• Content that offers links from authoritative websites for a fact-check
• Content that is fully optimized for SEO
• Content that is unique, original, and well research
• Content that is free of any grammar, spelling, and/or punctuation errors

I am perhaps missing a few more elements but I think these are some of the most important ones.

By optimizing you mean optimizing for ranking or maybe in a way that one achieves his end goals as well?

Awesome Content! Well your question seems very simple but quite difficult to answer.

1. It definitely has to be simple for everyone to understand. Making it complicated will not serve any purpose.
2. It has to be short but suffice every detailing. This is one of the challenging thing these days. People don't have enough time to read loads of words, keeping it short adds advantage as visitor reads it, well that's the main purpose you write any content. Isn't it? If it has too many words, the reader will just scroll and end up reading nothing.
3. It has to be engaging. Try engaging the reader, ignite his curiosity so that he isn't bored. Its very common these days that people get bored easily. So this is one of the important points.
4. Has to include Catchy words, both for the user and search engines indeed! Although it is said that we should not write just for search engines but also the readers who read it. So write for both in a ratio of 60:40.
5. Bullets over paragraphs. Choose to write in bullets, i.e point wise. But there are instances where paragraphs can also be used if you find it's effective over bullets.

These are the top 5 things that I feel today's style of content writing has to gel with. Well there are many more points that makes any content awesome. But that's it for now as I have to follow the 2nd point and gel well with it.

Well you sufficed almost everything in the ten points you decided to frame in a broader sense. I completely agree with you. But about the last point, I have a doubt. I hope you'll write back.

Agreed with spelling and punctuation errors. I too strictly don't like both.
But how about the grammar part? Do we always write grammatically? I really doubt about it. Now a days we don't actually follow the grammar part with a cent percent gelling. Despite that the content seems understandable, convincing and still error free when it actually is not completely error free.
What are your views about it? And how can we abide by grammar on our own? Any suggestions or tips to improve on that part are most welcome! Thank you in advance
