Crappy Site Getting Massive Traffic!

So I was doing some competitor research and found this crappy website with insane traffic, take a look at its stats-

Semrush



Ahrefs-

as much as I know ahrefs really displays quite less traffic than what a site actually gets, so stats from ahrefs and semrush can be quite comparable.

Moz DA - 1

This dude doesn't even have an SSL on site which takes like 2 mins to set up.

I checked backlinks they are all crappy web 2.0's or general backlinks site that you can register to and get backlinks easily.

Articles are also just 1000 words long and poorly written.

So how he did it?----->
He goes on to show how important keyword research is and is probably the only thing we need to focus on, he is targeting people of my country only and although this is traffic from a tier 3 country, if he actually gets somewhat this much traffic as shown in these tools then surely he's making quite some bucks with literally 0 fucks regarding SEO, link building, content writing and everything else.

I searched for his top keyword on google, and even on the first page no article is directly targeting the keyword on which he is writing the whole post, I just saw one more article relevant to the keyword, a quora question, and a youtube video that were actually related to the keyword, all other posts were just there because of authority. That's it, so focus on keyword research more than anything else on your site.

Maybe now I'll start targeting these keywords and I hope to beat him because he's not doing any SEO work and even articles are bad, so I think that maybe I will be able to outrank him.

But this post was just to show you guys that it's quite possible to rank well even with a crap website.

I highly doubt that a dude who isn't even bothering to setup SSL on site will setup hidden PBN's. Plus as I said that he's targeting insane keywords that no one else is writing about

obviously, SEO is important but SEO is such a wide topic it includes niche selection, keyword research, competitor analysis, SERP analysis, content research, link building, etc are just a few major topics of SEO, this site is just focusing on keyword research and nothing else at all.. That's all I wanna say in this post that KW Research is most important in SEO! Hope you understand

Since there were no authority sites targeting the keywords except forums, it was an easy target for him.

This comment is very rude since I live in this country too, and yes though this is tier 3 traffic its worth is not absolutely 0, though not as valuable as traffic from tier 1 country but still 100k tier 3 traffic has some value.

The latest Google update seems to have fucked things up beyond the early 2019 fuckup which had previously fucked things up to unprecedented fucked up state.
