SEO Expert will answer your questions

You need to drip feed the content so 3-5 a day is fine however it needs to be unique content. I am sure you can appreciate real websites tend not to post as much content as regularly, of course there are exceptions. Google only values unique content

Sorry but I have to strongly disagree here; you don't need to drip and you don't need unique content to rank as long as niche + city is clearly the keyword you're going after, I have been doing this for years and ranking for years like this, if you wanna do midlevel cities you need to have backlinks going to that page, good backlinks, not that crap that they sell here but real PBN where the P of private is really private + HQ citations, yes for that single page, do that and watch your 98% similar content rank first page.

It also helps if you can get your hands on a high authority domain (and i don't mean that shitty Moz DA) but one with some real ass backlinks and age, Google loves aged domains with a view old backlinks when it comes to local search for some strange reason I cannot seem to figure out.

Just my two cents here :)

I have a question and if you can talk to me it will be great thank you. I am in the niche with gambling .. locally .. My site is ranked by important keywords on page 2 .. I found 2-3 domains that are dropped but have backlinks from famous media sites .. if I take these domains and redirect them to my site will this give me a good ranking as it pops up on 1 page .. or will it not help because it is not a direct link and has another anchor ..

Hi,

I consider myself to be a SEO expert. I have been in this game for 9 years professionally meaning I do it as a full time job. I have seen 99% of the techniques out there and consider myself very knowledagble on SEO. Ask your questions and I will get back in a good time.

Thanks

It most likely wont help and can do more harm than good. If the domains are not related then it doesnt make sense to redirect those domains

Im in a similar position to you where I have been hit by a penalty and I am abandoning the website after spending a lot of money on it. If it was me personally I would do a full analysis to determine if its an algorithm update and see if you can get past it, it is possible to get past penalties but it takes a long time. Have you been building spammy links?
I didn't build any backlinks at all

ok, lets try an easier one: what was December update about? how to recover?

my original question was a joke, these are now being serious
There was a core update on December 3rd and also an unnamed update on December 17. As these are core updates and not related to a specific Google update such as penguin I can't tell you how to recover. The advice I would give is the same as what everyone else would say is to write quality content and build good backlinks. If your site has been hit however I would start with a full website analysis before doing anything.

Does the website have 0 backlinks? Is the content unqiue? If you answered yes to both then I would carry on with your project

The blog got some backlinks purchased from BHW forum. These backlinks are made in high DR forums in relevant topics.
Regarding the content, yes it's 100% unique.
Btw, if you don't mind me asking, is it safe to build do-follow backlinks to my money site from high DR sites in an irrelevant niche? I've seen some BHW members publishing guides about how to create Do-Follow backlinks from several high authority websites.

What parasites you use to rank quickly nowadays? (If you use parasites)

What is the most affordable way to find out which keywords I should try to rank first?

Hi,

at first thank you for your time, I have couple questions.
1. Is it worth to buy expired domains and use 301 redirect? I have seen a lot of guys doing it and it seems to work according ahrefs stats.
2. How can I say that my site is penalized? Does it mean that it is not in SERP at all or it can be in SERP but somehow site is not allowed to appear in search results.

Thank you in advance.

Considering the algorithm can rank pages differently when two people target the same primary keyword, how are you measuring potential traffic for a given article? I've studied many approaches to this, and so far I've only narrowed it down to one approach, that is still inaccurate, but the most accurate out of them all.

How are you measuring the potential traffic of a future article?

carry on SEO your experience is going to be 10years experience

the dec 3 one is/was a tough nut to crack - reminds me of medic to a degree - some changes made and nothing moving up or down so im guessing that when a big update hits a recoery will happem similar to sites that got tossed by medic - for that one rebuilding onsite kicked some serious ass

This really doesn't make much of sense, so you better avoid it.

No one can measure potential traffic. You can only estimate. Just my two cents.

@allsystems - I respect you starting this thread. instead of saying SEO expert will answer your questions.... you should have instead used a title: A SEO student would like to share lessons learned and also learn from you....

an expert would never call themselves an expert. in fact they run away from such titles so that they dont get bothered by others

many of your responses are very basic.... if someone like @t0mmy , @splishsplash and @bartosimpsonio come across your responses, they would eat you alive....

again, keep doing what you doing, and let's learn from each other

to @splishsplash and @bartosimpsonio , I purposely included you in a same sentence, so that you 2 can kiss and make up!
