I just got approved as entrepreneur contributor, but I thought they also had a free option that allows you to publish one article every 90 days.
They ask for $1000 to activate my account and I can post 4 articles per month.

Now the main question: Is it really worth it?

I thought they pay you to post, but probably were overcrowded with useless SEO articles and backlinks.

Well then you got to charge more than $250 per backlink to make it profitable, find clients who would pay you for that and that adds to the cost.

But to make it worthwhile I need to monetize it. I've seen some backlinks from entrepreneur go for more than $1000
