hello i’m very interested in learning more to do this. i am writing my own music and want to do it full time by farming streams.

my plan is to just make a vps network and buy premium accounts with spotify prepaid cards at cvs.

i’d be interested in receiving pm from anyone that is interested in helping me learn and quid pro quo streaming, or a really good bots that work. i don’t know how they are done so i need to learn

Hey men, I'm doing this Spotify thing from more than 1&1/2 year and I'd like to talk about it with someone with at least as experienced as me.
I was able to reach 6K per month but starting from January Sales I'm having some troubles. This month i made only 1.5K.
I have some ideas but I'm not sure.

So what do you think is the Problem ?

I think they are targeting and checking only accounts that have earned a certain amount of money in a specific month (over 400€), because they've sent me sales stats and money only to the account that have earned less of that.

Hi @streamkite Have been reading through this topic and would love to get in involved. Over 10 years worth of experience within the music industry, working with Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon, etc. Can't go into detail too much here, but PM me and we can talk. :)

Interesting. I have a question. How can I make my Spotify artist account verified?
Just sign up over at artists.spotify.com :) As soon as you claim your artist account, you get verified. It's pretty straightforward, but I'd recommend having at least 1 social media channel for your artist and/or having a website set up.

I have a custom build solution which is using large, international VPN providers to hide all traffic. VPN providers are not shady itself, if used correctly. Normal people also use VPN providers, therefore Spotify cannot just ban all users coming from VPNs. Business Proxy IPs are a direct red flag, if they can detect it.

Do you use the Datacenter / ISP ranges or the true Residential once? Can the residential one bypass the proxy detection on the Spotify Signup page?

Agreed. It's all about making it look legit. You just have to think about what a normal user would do. Lots of people use a VPN. And popular VPNs only have so many IPs for any given country. So you can bet there are already a bunch of people listening to Spotify from that IP and they don't get blocked either. Easiest way to look legit is by resembling a normal user as much as possible.

I won't recommend any specific ones, but I don't use any that don't pay me 100% of my earnings.

I'd actually love to weigh in on that, having worked with lots of distributors. There's not a single distributor in the world that lets you keep 100% of the earnings as received by Spotify. This is because almost none of them have a direct relationship with Spotify. Most people thing a distributor distributes your music to Spotify. In reality almost every distributor uses an aggregator (kinda like a distributor for distributors) to get music to Spotify. On the other side, to get the actual payouts they usually use an aggregator as well or some sort of rights management organization. They all keep %, so you're never getting the full amount in any case. Even if it's advertised as such by the distributor.
On top of this, most distributors that say they won't keep a % keep some form of % as well. They hide this with things like currency conversion, admin costs, bank costs, etc. etc.

So picking the right distributor matters a lot.

As an Artist myself could I use some method to boost my spotify presence and get into some playlists? If anyone could manage to do this, I would land my premium account I would pay all the profit related to growing my account, I would only like to grow my music
