Before 34 days i order 40pcs Nvidia 3080 GPU 1940$ each from a trusted Alibaba seller, already have made many orders in the past with him, and not a single problem, so I have trust dealing with him and I made few orders in the same day.

The seller told me that there's no that much in stock but we agree to send me each time he has a few pcs and he sends me 4 packages with 10 pcs. with 5-7 days delay. He sends through UPS and gives me a tracking number for each package like always and I paid also for shipping insurance for each package. Everything was fine all packages come to show some progress on tracking numbers and I should get them 7-10 days after shipping.

And here comes the real problem, packages should arrive in-country in Europe where I host my miners, so on tracking I get China - Germany - Bulgaria and here I'm losing every information of package not a single update more than 5 days so I started asking a question in the office when should they come and they had no information, I found some people to call the UPS office in Bulgaria and they said that packages with those tracking numbers never arrived in Bulgaria, next step was calling the office in Germany, and they told me packages are already sent in Bulgaria and that is not in their office. So I called US numbers to check what's going on with packages so they transfer me to some international number where people can't help me at all.

I open a dispute process on Alibaba so the seller moves his ass and do something but he told me it's not his responsibility you should check with UPS and Alibaba also was on his side. After few days I get some info on my e-mail that there is some investigation from UPS to find the package but already 5 days pass and I didn't get anything new. So now I'm fcked up and I think to find some lawyer to help me with this labyrinth.

Tell the seller to make a claim to ups too, if they can 't give him an answer they are obliged to pay for the value of the package

They promptly stole your GPUs in Bulgaria, sorry for your loss.

I wouldn't ever guess that UPS has office in Bulgaria. Unlike any other countries in EU, countries like Bulgaria, Russia, etc, have extremely bad postal services and it's normal to get your package lost or have it sent to Africa. In many cases you will get it resolved, but it can take ages.

But if you have the insurance for each package - can't you claim the insurance?

It's not your problem.

Until you receive an item you paid for, it's not your responsibility.

If the seller doesn't claim responsibility, I would be filing a chargeback with the bank. under "I didn't receive what I paid for"

I won't trust UPS with such amount
I think it's robed

Well someone must ship them and most of them are the same DHL UPS FedEx maybe in US is different but in other countries, they just let some shitty companies that pay franchise run them.

I tell him 1000 times to do that and don't know what's going on with this Chinese people I pay him more than 300k for now and like he didn't give a shit about his customers.

I think that's the real problem in this case.

Yes I pay for insurance but seller must open dispute process and he just didn't care and alibaba support don't help to solve the problem so I can only wait or burn UPS office to the ground :D

That's the answer I get from all people that know how this works but i think that Alibaba support don't know English at all.

On the tracking number is written the name of the country where package should arrive and says :
THE PACKAGE DID NOT ARRIVED AT DESTINATION

I got reply on my dispute from Alibaba support : We check tracking number that are provided package is located in your country WTF !?!

Just call your bank bro, don't get involved with Alibaba, like I said, you are stressing over something that's not your responsibility. The seller should be the one panicking, it's his money.

You should be calling your bank and saying "I want to file a chargeback, I haven't received my item, I've contacted the seller and they are not able to provide a solution, the delivery company states that the package has not been delivered, here's the evidence"

Then your bank should go "Right ok, that's fair enough, we have now reversed the transaction, if the seller can provide proof it's been delivered, we will undo the chargeback, if the seller doesn't provide evidence withing xxx amount of time, the money is rightfully yours to keep"

Trust me, I don't get involved with sellers anymore. I wait the time to deliver, if it's not delivered, I tell the seller "where is it?" if they don't provide me a solid response, I chargeback without even telling them, because a chargeback creates a headache for the seller, and if they won't give me a good service, I'm giving them a headache.

Hassle free. I get my money back, I move to another seller, they then have to deal with the chargeback, and lost a customer at the same time. It's a pain point for them, and it will make them improve their delivery for future customers.

I don't know why I have seen the complaints of lost packages with UPS, not with FedEx or DHL?

They are plenty of dispute cases with FedEx, DHL and other carriers.
It happens to all companies regardless.
Can't say who's right or wrong in most cases but as for OP, I would follow @Dark Sky 's advice and contact your bank to sort it out.
I would personally never order such an amount online, it's way to risky, In fact, I dislike ordering anything online, I enjoy the satisfaction of walking in a store to get my hands on it.

After a long long battle with ups my lawyers still don't make any progress, we find out that for sure package is stolen in Germany and there are more than 30 similar disputes with graphic cards in the same city, but nobody gives a sh%t .

If you have plans to order mining equipment from Alibaba stay away from UPS.

Had long time to read such B.S..
Thank you!

I hope that this was a joke.

Thank you for the update! I hope you find a solution asap.

P.S: All logistics companies have their main hubs in Bulgaria for anything coming from Asia.

Don't worry your packages are on the way...
It's just taking too long with bicycle...

Obviously in this particular case, Alibaba cannot help, nor would Alibaba consider a dispute with the seller. You did pay for shipping insurance. So contact that particular insurance company (get details from UPS if needed) and officially tell them that you want to raise a claim, and proceed from there.
UPS provides all packages automatically with $100 worth of liability for loss or damage. A shipper can choose to declare a higher value for the shipment with an additional charge. So, hope that your insurance covered the value of the goods (perhaps at extra charges paid by you).

I was watching a video on BBC where some thiefs were robbing packages on trains to be delivered to people. I do not remember the country but the railway line was full of empty boxes thrown away. They did it for some time before security was improved. May be your package also got affected by this.

Hell men what you gonna do with these GPUs , don't worry it would get delivered it may be any problem within delivery !

That was in Los Angeles, California and very recent.

This thread is not very recent if you look at the date on the original post.
