Can i copy someone content design?

I am new here, or in the world of online marketing.

Could you please tell me what will happen if i copy content idea of any website?
Recently, i wrote my first article, did not know how to right blog posts, i copied content idea from one website of serp.

Then i rewrote it. When i check plagiarism it isn't showing any plagiarism, now i am thinking should i use this article or not?
Will it put my website in trouble in an Google's eyes? Need your help, please let me know if you know something abut it.

Or i also need to know how could i copy content idea from any website which will not put me in troubles?

This is what I do
I look at my competition and see what they are banking on, and what they are targeting.
I read their articles, analysis it, and rewrite them
I target KWs my comps are not doing well in/not targetting at all.

make sure to add and/or some sections, headings just in case,
in the eyes of Google, it's unique content, nothing more,
but you could get a copyright claim from the original website for this
