In the UK you get more time in prison for carrying a weapon than you do sexually assaulting a child. Let that sink in, carrying a weapon, not using a weapon.

And if you get caught sexually assaulting children, you get put on a special wing with all the other podophiles, so you don't get harmed. They protect you.

And if it's your first time in the UK grooming children, you get a warning. No prison time.

Totally agree.
If me and you have a fight one on one in a car park we have a chance of going to prison for more time than someone who rapes a child.
There are people caught with thousands of child porn pictures and get suspended sentences. This blows my mind.
Jamie bulgers killers got out and one of them has been caught loads of times of having indecent child pictures and gets a slap on the wrist.
People go on about legalising drugs and things like that. This should be sorted out way before that.

Exactly it's a broken system, and I have a feeling it's because there's a lot of paedophiles in the system which prevent it from changing. There's a lot of big names that were paedophiles, and they were just the ones that got caught, essentially the tip of the ice berg logically speaking.

I see paedophile hunter videos on a daily basis, and have been for years, there's always a new paedophile to catch for these teams. It's deeply concerning that any person or organisation can be so lenient on a problem.

I see organisations taking the "no tolerance" policy on racism, hate speech, etc, but none of them on paedophilia? I'm going to guess it's a lot more damaging to get raped as a child than to suffer from verbal abuse whether that be racism, bullying or hate speech. What's comical is that we have days dedicated to raising awareness for issues like racism, bullying ect.

But nothing for kids being raped on a daily basis? It's almost as if the system condones paedophilia, it's sickening.

Why are you bringing up Pedophilia, no one was talking about pedophiles and what James Charles did has nothing to do with pedophilia.


It wasn't even just past generations, it was literally like just a few years ago it was acceptable for a man in his early 20's to date a woman or man that is 16. Was it illegal, to have sex in many locations? Yes. However it happened and it was accepted as long as they weren't taking pictures/videos or were bragging about it. How the man in his early 20's acted was the more important issue, as long as he didn't do drugs, had a decent job, and didn't introduce her/him to shady characters he was okay.

In 34 states in America its the same as in the UK.

If he caused any harm he should just be required to pay for therapy, any lost earnings to due mental illness and be restricted from certain social media activities.

I read it on the BBC news. I'm not into gay make up tutorials if that's what you're insinuating and if I was, I wouldn't deny it. But for the rest, I agree. If the law says 18 or whatever is the legal age in a given country, there's no excuse.

I don’t want to talk too much about this because I know and understand it’s a delicate topic. But he was 21 possibly 20 when he was caught sending messages to 16 years olds (according to the article you posted). It’s not that he was a 30 o 40 year old creep. The age gap in this case is not that big in my opinion.
