James Charles Temporarily Demonetised?

If it was us then not only our channel deleted but adsense banned and unable to create another account:D

He's one of these youtubes I'm glad I never heard of him, and want to forget about him as soon as possible.

Agreed. Horrible piece of work he is. I was just shocked at how leniently he's been treated knowing (like the rest of us here) how easy it is to be demonetised and banned.

Have you never been on Youtube? He was promoted like crazy by Youtube. Even without looking up anything makeup or LGBTQ+ related his channel would be recommended, and Youtube did this for years.

To be honest mate, the first time I noticed him was in the news after he'd been grooming young boys. I don't look at make-up or LGBTQ stuff, so maybe I wasn't presented with his videos because of my search/viewing behaviour.

I only know who he is because my niece wanted a hoodie that Is from him.
I wouldn’t know him if not.
Just goes to show YouTube must make a fortune out of him so they just give him a slap on the wrist.

I was thinking that. it has to be about how much he makes them, which when you think about it, it's disgusting and hypocritical. All the stuff YT harps on about re keeping people safe online doesn't seem to apply if you make them a pile of cash. In a way, they are endorsing what he did.

He is making them pennies in the grand scheme of things, actually, the problem is elsewhere - they was scared that if ban him, they will be crucified by the media for being homophobic and this can push the advertisers away (remember aDpocalypse?).

How the f*ck did Tyga get a pass for dating Kylie Jenner when she was 16 and he was 24?

I was actually thinking that too. The political fallout. Just as bad though in my view, if not worse. Turning a blind eye to underage grooming out of fear of being branded unPC. Disgusting.

So he should have just moved to your country and married a 16 year old instead of "grooming" them?

I don't agree with kids getting married at 16, but that's besides the point I am trying to make here. I dont think you can just get married at 16 here anyway. You need parental permission. Where he lives, it's a crime and he was fully aware of that. He has got away with it until now where most other people would have been banned instantly and that, in my opinion is wrong.

Just because it's a crime doesn't make him some kind of bad person.

If he is a "bad person" for what he did, then it's calling the grandparents or great grandparents of many BHW members bad people as well. Which is just insulting, and there is no need for it.

Don't twist it and try and get other members on to me. If my child was 16 and a mid twenties adult was talking sex with them, I would not be happy. I don't know. Maybe I'm weird or something. But that is not what the issue is. He's done something that would loose any one of us our accounts instantly and has been treated leniently. Why is that?

He didn't do something on Youtube, he did it on other platforms.

If a regular person got in trouble, YT probably wouldn't even know about it because there wouldn't be any media attention.

But he is not a regular person. He had put himself in the public eye. And that’s how he makes his money.
Also he knows the law in his country and broke it.
I can’t go to an Arab dry country and drink then say well in my country it’s different so technically I never broke the law.
