Deindexing a third party forum link from Serp

Hi, I need one help here.

I need to permanently remove one forum link from google indexing. Though I am not the owner of that forum so I am not able to do that. Is there some way I can get it deindex? Any help will be really appreciated.

You're going to want to create pages on high authority sites then rank them. You can buy guest posts with your brand in the title, social media sites, press releases, review sites, parasites (there's a list of parasite someone shared here titled "get list of parasites")

Yes that is the last option for me to do, but client do not want to invest in such things, he just want to deindex from the SERP's.

Your developer does not know ORM if he doesn’t know this basic concept.

OP: if the forum is ranking high, you’ll have to push it down the serps.
This takes generally good links, and lots of them. Especially if the forum is highly reputable in that niche.
There is no “negative seo” to kill the link.

Such things could happen,
and since it's a forum, you can post back to the thread and explain why that's not true,
that will cut out some of the harm, but still, such ranking post can be harmful
