What Money sites

Hey guys
I was reading a post here on BHW and I found the most people use this term "money site"

I just wanted why it means

The money site is the site you use to convert traffic into cash

Non-money sites are usually built to get backlinks and pass on the link juice to your money site so it ranks better

Frankly, you can rank with just content but the downsides are:
- you have to pick low competition keywords
- you have to build your site content to produce context for your money pages (pages that convert visitors into $$$)
- you have to wait from 6 months to 18 months or more for organic traffic to show up (depending on your niche)
