I used to watch Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff speak about science stuff sometimes on late night french TV show called "On n'est pas couché" (We are not yet asleep) a long time ago. I didn't think they were famous outside of France.
Saw them referred to often on the web recently and here on BHW, can I know what's the story that brought them to the world's attention?
I've been living under the rock of BHW and Internet Marketing and didn't catch up with world news much.

It is Diamond Damien, who purchased it many years back from someone else. And I am really curious about the story and how much he paid for it, if anyone is willing to share. Because now its worth so much and my gut says back then he spent just a few k's. So..congrats!

I'm pretty sure that Damien is not going to share what he paid for BHW.
It is his personal business but I know it was a lot more than a six pack of beer and a pastrami on rye with mustard from The Carnegie Deli.
