Never heard of Elasticsearch.....I don't think this can be easly abused...the guy I'm working with is very skilled and he is struggling to provide good results.

I think they may consider it as an aditional ranking factor but I don't believe that alone it will have such a huge impact in the Serps, it would be very pron to abuse otherwise .

As far as the technical aspects of AI goes it's perfectly possible, simple ElasticSearch setups can cross reference millions or even billions of entries in a matter of milliseconds so pretty sure it's not bluff

This is the point of testing....to see if things work or not....also G in order to combat churn n burn websites placed a huge delay regarding moving in the SERPs....I expect to see positive results if any in 3-6 months.

Honestly don’t think this will work but hoping it will and look forward to the case study result. The reason why i don’t believe its working is because google picks up the mentions right away and should consider them as a ranking factor once they’re picked up and movement in ranking would be visible

There are no links only text mentions of the brand or brand + keywords....the thing with the dark web is that is a closed loop....since some illegal things are gonna happen anons will not advertise this kind of services on the open market.

Where do you get these links though, you said a dark web worker? I looked around in a few places and can't find anyone that offers this service.

UPDATE WEEK 4:

My guy is struggling to deliver good results...I'm not happy with the quality of the mentions.....we agreed to approach things more aggresive.

Still no movement in the SERPs but traffic went up 11%.

Strange things are happening. Organic and direct traffic spiked 17% this week. G also started to show my website for totally unrelated searches. I think I confused the big braing G AI.

The traffic spike is kinda usless to me because it comes from all over the world and my business it's only for the counties in the E.U. Some of those unreleted searches are for some med to high volume keywords. Maybe I can make something out of this.

Still no movement in the serps for the main keywords but some LSIs started to dance.

Also got some angry emails from some people that weren't happy that they promote my brand without knowing

Placed an order for 800k mentions.

Brilliant idea to be fair. Would be more useful if you had global audience as your target. With that many mentions of your brand online you are bound to have traffic for decades. Think what you could make if you set up an email lander and then autoresponder. Printing money!

The idea is great. But! The idea of this forum is to share what you've done.

I expect he OP to post his screenshot of some tool showing changes. Apart from that I want to make sure the mentions work in brand awareness.

What does the tool show you? He said his direct traffic is up 17%. If you want "proof" then the screenshots can be faked in 10 seconds. Also, it doesn't really help you anyways because you don't know where he is spamming his mentions. Could be 500k spammed/hacked chinese blogs that nobody will ever see and his traffic spike comes actually from 5000 ok links/pages that some souls visit once per month.
