Check top 5-10 sites and what type/amount of backlinks they have. How their on-page/site SEO is, how long their content is and so on. Can you make a better site then them? Then go for it.

Usually a good indicator of an easy keyword, but hard to say. Go for it IMO. (Depends on the keyword though.. is it an affiliate keyword or just a generic AdSense type of keyword?) - How are you planning on monetizing?

That's the powerful AHREFS. No one with a head on their shoulders rely on these data alone. Nothing compares with a manual check which is at the same time pleasant to do, you kind of feel like an internet spy Especially when you analyze your competitors. Damn how I like what I do.

KWfinder + Manual check is the shit, IMO. Ahrefs is waaaay off.

I assume you had been sticking to this strategy (chose kwds relying on Ahrefs) for years in the past and ended up with tons of content with no keyword and traffic (uploaded your current avatar when you finally realized that the strategy is shit) and now you are trying to mislead others so they had the same pain. I've actually never used Ahrefs for keyword research, only KWFinder since I became a member here. But I like the story, so yeah sure you're right.
