Hey everyone. I've been doing a lot of stuff in IM from years now and it's time I start making it big or there's no point in continuing this.

I recently sold a few sites and I'm starting from an already established starter site this time, here are the stats.
Screenshot 2021-03-15 at 1.35.50 PM.png

This site makes about $40-50 from Ezoic and is of Home niche.
It has 100% informational content as of now with a count of total 300 posts and 180k+ words.

The traffic is stable in GSC, it shows weird in ahrefs though. The site gets about 3-4k traffic a month (according to Google Analytics)

As it has over 300 articles, all informative, I'm going to start with putting out 50k+ words a month (ALL AFFILIATE CONTENT) on this site and most of the keywords will be low competitive keywords with okayish search volume.

The plan is to get this site to more than $3k+ in 12 months as I have to pay off my family's debt and take my parents to abroad and get me and my family in a stable and happy position in general. Btw, I'm 17 and will turn 18 in a couple of months :)

I'm going to flip this site as soon as it reaches 3k a month and flip it for 100k (let's see what actually happens :) )

I do a lot of freelance work and everything so I'm 100% up for investing $400-500/ mo in the site and will start with building links to internal pages, 100% on affiliate content and try PBN Sniping ( maybe )

I would really appreciate it if you guys would help me out in my journey here, I'm still a beginner in my opinion and if you have any recommendations or advice any time, please hit me up or comment here because everyone's recommendations are highly appreciated ! :)

The Plan
  • Post 50k+ Words a month - All Affiliate Content
  • Build/ Buy at least 5-10 links a month
  • Build Links to the articles which immediately start ranking in top 20 or even top 50
  • Use Guest Posts, Niche Edits or PBNs only. Maybe tier-2 links to power guest posts.
  • Max out the potential articles in my niche (topic)
  • Update old articles which are getting a little traffic and can get more
  • Interlink affiliate articles with articles ranking high so that authority, link juice flows.
Please let me know if this is enough to get me to a level where I make more than $3k in less than 10 months.
I've worked on a lot of projects (affiliate sites) before but never thought of making it to this level or investing this amount of money but here I am, trying to make it big and give it all. Maybe it would be worth it. I'm very optimistic but let's see what happens :)

Here's how the GSC looks for those who are wondering :-

Btw, a LOT of traffic is from pinterest and I mean it, A LOT !

Wish me luck :)

Good luck @mukul555 Looking forward to seeing your result
Yes. Thanks a lot :)

Your plan looks solid. Good luck to you for this project.
Thanks a lot :)

How did Ezoic approved you? They need 10k pageviews right? So does it mean all your 10k pageviews comes from Pinterest? Hope you answer my question! Good luck op :)

I wish you all the best for this journey man

Just one question : how much a site like this one cost ? In other words, how much did you buy it ? (if it's not indiscreet)

I bought the site, so I don't know about that but right now, ezoic is approving even without 10k views. There's a promotional email, idk who sent it but it got me ezoic on my other site. I'll try to find it and share here.

I can't reveal the exact amount but it was on a multiple used commonly. You can estimate it to be less than $3000 as a site making $100/mo would typically be sold for 3000 bucks i.e 30x multiple. It gets more or less according to the site and content :)

Update:

Nothing much but just hired 2 writers for this project, found more KGR keywords, bought 2 link insertions for a post and rankings went from 27 to 11 for the target KW.

Published about 20k+ words of affiliate content.
The link building strategy is yet to be made.
I'm skeptical about using 301 redirects as a strategy but if they turn out to be good, the site can blow up pretty fast.

Talking about earnings, the site is making almost $2/day now.

Good luck to your journey!
I've been out of the loop for while but plan to reinvigorate my ol' site finally.
You're using Ahrefs for your KWresearch?

Thanks man !
Yes, I'm using Ahrefs :)

Man, that's some well-planned journey, can't wait to see your progress, best of luck! :)

Update

I was just having a look on godaddy auctions and found a pretty decent expired domain for 200 bucks. Bought it and now I'm planning to try the acquisition method (301 redirect the expired domain to a page on site and link all the posts I want to rank for on that page)
If someone has tried this before, please let me know if this is a good strategy or I should just go for homepage to homepage redirects.
The domain is totally niche relevant and non spammy.

Talking about the rest, I'm still on the track of putting out at least 50k words/mo as said and performing content audits and removing thin senseless content too.

I've removed about 60-80 posts as of now and 301d 30-40 posts on existing posts. All of these posts that have been dealt with did not have more than 5 organic visitors in the past few years and neither any social views. The english was horrible too so it was a good decision to remove them.

At the same time, I'm performing speed optimisation and optimising about 16k images from litespeed cache plugin which has helped improve the pagespeed score significantly.

I'm planning to reach out to more sites and go all in on link building in a few months after my exams are done with. I've got my finals till 31st May and a few college entrances in June.

I've also had integrated Ezoic with this and was earning $1-2/day with 200 daily traffic but now I'm planning to shift from Ezoic to Adsense as ezoic really reduces the site speed and my site does not pass the core web vitals test.
