Many already know this I am sure but many do not so I will share it.

If you have an account or make an account then go to purchase a domain name or transfer etc then put it in your cart but do not purchase it then wait a day or so for an email with like 10% off or something of that nature.

May work with other things I am not sure what all it works with.

Feel free to add things you find that this is working on to the thread.

:)

If you have more than five or six domain names in an account and you call godaddy and ask who your account rep is they will usually give you a discount anyway. They gave me dot com's for a little over $7 each.

Cool, I never tried that, thanks. Have you ever tried this with domain renewals? Probably doesn't work with renewals...

A renewal is sitting in my Godaddy shopping cart... let's see whether they email me :)

If you order at least 6 domains, you automatically get private registration which is nice and saves you a few bucks. And don't forget the $50 facebook credi which was still going on as of a few days ago.

This coupon works at Godaddy for $7.49 .COMS -cjc749fat

i use the site
Code:
http://www.godomainy.com/
for most of my domains. godomainy.com is usually cheaper than godaddy and the coupon code 50CN10 gives 10% off of $50.. plus .coms are 7.49 already.

go to retailmenot . com for coupon codes and type godaddy. There will usually be up to date codes to use. at the moment 30% of domains is standard.

As suggested by noahzark here, I did put a domain renewal in my shopping cart but didn't check out, waiting for an email from Godaddy offering me a discount on the renewal. After 3 days still no email... so this theory doesn't seem to work for renewals...

So I went back and renewed using the 10% coupon WEASEL7 (10% off your purchase during Jan 2010).

thank you for updating the thread about your outcome

If you click on their goofy "Too Hot For TV" ads, you automatically get some sort of discount. .com's for 7.99 or something.

I always try to use the 30% off coupons with no luck. No worries at least I get my .coms for $7. :D
