How do you effectively get customers for digital products on Facebook?

The title ^^^ to those of you who've pulled it off without an existing brand how did you do it?

From my research the key methods being spouted out there are:

1) Give a complimentary lead magnet e.g. PDF infographic or Webinar video in exchange for their email - before running a sequence

2) Offer a free trial

3) Offer a free product then run an upsell and downsell sequence

Do any of the above methods work or are they just year 2010 guru nonsense?

Happy to pay for a course too if it's a reasonable price and is legitimate

Yes all of them work but have to choose the right audience for campaign

one more is offering huge discount with time frame Ex: 60% discount only for 3 days!

Create an irresistable offer that have huge value to potential buyer is a great way to make sales!

Send them some thing that they will love to share in facebook itself so that will have a virial effect.
