I've been getting quite a lot of message requests from accounts like this, and was wondering if this is how those that mass DM get followers?

There's been a lot of complaints about this and I was wondering how in earth do they grow accounts with this method?

Looking at the pictures I would say they are targeting horny male followers.
Most likely, but I'm not a male  , and my account is private.

I was considering using an Instagram DM service but this has kinda cooled my ardour for it. :suspicious:

In your screenshot you can see 2 strategies :

- Mass DMs method, with an avatar woman picture with a weird name, which has probably no picture, promoting a main account.

- Group chat DMs method, with a naked (or almost) woman sending a link to a group of 10+ users.

Both ways, they are very spammy and can send multiple times DMs to the same users. There are better ways to promote accounts than this spam, with DMs (M/S) or not (shoutouts, ads,..).

So these are like low quality DMs? What I'm puzzled about is how they grow with it. I'd never use something like this for a client. And I was considering that recently:weep:

Yes. The "Ambassadorship program" is overused and is a 2019 / 2020 thing, right now conversion is very low compared to what it used to be. Problem is, people try to copy strategies that works well and by doing that, they all use the same tactics. By the end of the day, it looks more spammy than anything else.

How they grow it ? By sending millions of DMs. But actually, it's only numbers = Low targeted, not filtered. I wouldn't even think about sending to a client private users or with > 2k followings. But hey, mass DMs = quantity, not quality.

Aye... It's looking like Mass DM = high quantity, low quality. Sighs

For most of the services out there, yes. Why ? Because they use blank accounts (that will die after a few days anyway) + they only DM users.

But "mass DMs" litterally sending tons of DMs. So I do think that it exists some services around which bring more quality / value with their DMs, if they have control of their automation (= services that don't only rely on russian bots). After all, it's automation. So everything is possible, if we stay within the limits :)

From what i´ve heard, the rate that someone open the message and click on the link is around 1-3% maximum.
Hard to say what kind of numbers you need to have a good ROI.

Eventually, they'll get banned
That's why most accounts being used for mass DM may not have followers at all

I'm getting that kind of messages too on one of my IG accounts.
All of them promoting porn aff links.

I've analyzed a bit their strategy,
They don't give a fuck about the quality, just about the quantity and sending one DM message to multiple users creates that message groups.

All of the DM's i received was sent to me and other 13 users, seems they use this strategy because the limits on the message groups are higher than the limits for single user DM(for example they can send 3 mass dm's per hour and hit 3 x 14 users/DM, that means 42 users per hour but sending 42 single user DMs per hour will get the account limited in no time!)

I'm getting this everyday on my personal account and on Facebook messenger since January

No experience with the dating niche but been trying to grow an artist account with this method... Still trying to optimize but DM:follower ratio is pretty low around 1-3%. Imagine some of these must be sending 100k+ DMs per day :p
