I am a very introverted person because I have different likings and ways of thinking. I find it very difficult to mix with normal people.

For the last few years, i have been working on my digital marketing skills and currently, i am making upward of $40,000/month(you can see my journey threads). Two years back when i didn't have any money, i thought making money wud make me happy.

But now that i make this much money, i don't know why am i making money. Every week, the money keeps coming in my bank account and i don't know why am i making it, it just keeps accumulating(each week).
I haven't bought anything(for myself) in the last 2 years. It's been 2 years since i bought any clothes or any material things and don't have the urge to buy anything either.

I don't have any reason to get up in the morning as making more and more money isn't making me any happier.

It feels very lonely in this world as there is no one i could talk to about my digital marketing business and anything i am interested in(as less than 0.01% of people have been through this journey or wud understand it). And it's difficult to meet/find anyone who does.

My college friends are busy chasing 9 to 5 jobs, so, they could get settled in life. I cannot discuss business or motivation with them nor are they interested.

I thought traveling wud make me feel happier but it didn't.

I don't feel like getting out of the house.

Eating fast food is the only thing that gives me pleasure in life. Apart from that my life seems very empty. I don't see any purpose in anything that i do.

Has anyone been through these feelings? Knows any cure to it?

Try visiting the poorest people In your town, visit the ICU department of the Hospital, Go to the police station you will feel to be the most happy person in this world
Being accused of felonies and having both of your legs broken are examples of things that definitely can teach you a lesson. However, there are many individuals who won't get the lesson unless both of their legs and hands are broken, their bank account is empty and their whole family is dead.

Perfect Brother,
That is where, we have to be a Human.
I daily try giving my time to the Society, you find so many people who just need a shoulder to cry and Someone to hear them.
And suddenly they feel better

no, i don't have any problems in life. i barely work 3-4 hours a day.

That's your problem.

Find a new project that makes you excited and do that. If you're only working 3-4 hours a day you must be very bored. You want a project that keeps you excited and working all day, evening, and you wake up the next day looking forward to getting back to it.

Well drepression can come to people who are very successfull and do not have problems in life. If you are happy and enjoying your life then its okay. Otherwise if you are just thinking about past or future and have lost the motivation to live life happly then it may be start of depression.

Asking this type of question implies your mind is unhealthy.

First please try to figure out that you arent sufferring from any disorder.

The question you need to ask yourself is
Are you enjoying your life with whatever you have right now ?

If not then some medical situation is knocking on your door.

yes, i think i need to take more challenges in life and stop living this complacent life. Maybe try new business ventures, maybe start a startup..etc.

I had a very different situation from you and it was much more worse. I was an overweight teen who was bullied like crazy. I'm from India and people here are damn rude. I was literally the guy sitting in the corner and no one would talk to me. Though everything has changed now, I've just started making money and I'm doing just great and I also lost about 15Kgs, I still feel sad even thinking about that time when I used to have to go through so much. I had to go to my school literally every DAY and it was a torture.

Now, regarding how can you cure the problem you have right now, the only answer is to work on yourself and the second is to make someone else's dreams come true. Maybe teach them what you do and how you do that and trust me it feels really good helping others and it kind of gives you a motivation to do more.

Maybe start from me :P (jk)

Find someone like-minded, who's into IM and stuff and start training/teaching him/her.

Also, the thing that you wrote about youth of your age trying to get into a 9-5; i can relate to it so much !!! huh.
People here are just after a stable pay of like 1000-2000 bucks a month and when they get it, they think that they're settled for rest of their life. Next step for them is marrying someone who they don't know shit about.

Can't discuss any of my goals and ambitions with my friends. Maybe that's the reason I love this forum :) People here are great and help a lot !

PM me, I'll let you know about a few stuff that might help you lose weight. (Nothing about gym or any supplements though lol)

You sound depressed, visit mental health specialist while you are not that deep in the rabbit hole. I'm an introvert too and I think it's okay to stay inside most of the time and have little desire to explore the outside world, but your quote:
I don't have any reason to get up in the morning as making more and more money isn't making me any happier.

is what makes me think that you need some counseling. Mental health issues are no joke and there are no barriers for them - everyone can get sick, starting from a broke homeless person and ending with multi-millionaires.

This is the cure to your problem mate in one simple step:

Use the money you're making to change something about the world that is much bigger than yourself, and even just starting on this path will immediately make you feel enriched and internally happy.

Money is bullshit if all it is is numbers and possessions. The true power of money is agency. The ability to do things you couldn't do before, not the ability to buy things you couldn't buy before.

Your project could be:

- a startup aiming to disrupt a traditional industry with new technologies
- a non-for-profit that solves a problem you care about particularly (NFP doesn't mean you spend money on changing something, the money it generates can make it a cost neutral investment - you get returns at the same level you invest in it, but also effect positive change).
- creating some form or artistic enterprise because you enjoy creating interesting things and have the ability to fund something like that which someone who doesn't make $xx,xxx per week wouldn't be able to.
- simply find someone that needs your help and help them. Alternatively, find a community that needs your help and help them. Alternatively, help someone you know will help 3 more people in the same way and create a pyramid of positive change from helping a single person.
- put your money towards venture capital-esque endeavours - bring new amazing projects into the world without having to take a managing role.
- 100,000 other things - but the key is it HAS TO be bigger than you, ie. the impact it would have has to be 100X more important than your own life. When you work on something like that, you feel enriched every day and feel excited just to be alive.
