Was wondering about this recent after someone sent me a message about it. If you buy an adwords account and use up $500 could Google track you down through say an affiliate link, or anything else.

You just get ban.
If you use your real info very small chance your get in any serious trouble.
But to get more then 1 account it a hard method need to learn.

Google won't do a jame's bond thu the window.

If you do anythink illegal online you be arrested from local police reported usually from your internet connection provider .

I don't think google will run after you for that $500 which many people can't even spend properly and get banned before they can even use $100.

I find it funny you ask this with your username and a white hate pfp. Getting a new account maybe harder but if your talking legal trouble its not worth googles time for $500

I’m talking only about buying the accounts which are made by others with the details

The major issue here is Google needs irrefutable proof that the site is operated by the person they think. Just because they follow an affiliate link, see a PayPal address or read the site footer does not mean the details printed are actually that of the person operating the site.

Otherwise, it's just too easy to launch a negative attack on your competitor - I'd definitely spend $50 a few times to see Google sue my competitor into oblivion for abusing their threshold accounts.

Therefore my logic is: Google needs to validate the debt, which basically impossible, so they can't really come after you unless you leave very easy to find footprints that they can use in a court of law.

It all comes down to money.
If you did serious financial damage and they can tie it to you then yes.
However nobody will touch you for $500 USD in ad spend... taking you to court coasts money, investigation coasts money, lawyers cost money.

They are banning those accounts left and right as it stands now.

You should pivot from that strategy to something that is not as volitale.
