How to learn bitcoin trading?

The problem with a friend knowing a guy is... how reliable is that?

But it doesn't matter, somebody has to be making money. And if somebody's making money, you can too, I guess, right :)
He is telling me that because he deals in graphic cards and the person who ordered 200 pieces for just a test run (200 BTC GUY) seems legit story to me.

I traded Crypto years ago and made a lot of money. I'm no expert by any means but made a fat chunk of change in a short period of time, sometimes making $10,000 per day.

First things first there is no "guide" for trading Crypto that will actually help you. Once you learn the basics of technical analysis it's all on you. You will spend the next few days watching the markets and then slowly start trading, you may lose some money in the short term but the more you watch and play around the more you will make back in the long term but that's only IF this bull run keeps going. As soon as the bear market comes (and it will) 90% of investors and traders will lose their shirt.

Unless you want to spend 12 hours a day on your computer 7 days a week don't bother. It gets really addicting and stressful which is why I'm not trading during this recent bull run. I'm currently looking at other ways to make money and investing in the long term. Trading is magical at first. making $10,000 a day feels better than sex, but the bear market comes when you least expect it and when your struggling to make good trades the fire and excitement you once had will burn out.

Trading is not this there is lot of things like leverage trade, analyzing graphs, lot of patters, Fibonacci levels, wedge shap, bull flag and lot of other things.
I am looking to learn it and implement it from very small level so that I can grow.
Lol, you didn't get the joke.

Just buy and hold until price goes up. And when it goes up, sell, and wait for the price to go down and buy again.

This is the risk free method, traders made 8-10x in this bull run if they were going to do the same they would not made the money they have right now.

Sorry if my answer is different from OP, but you made me think of this. Aslo Im tired so not gonna put in effort. Sorry I don trade coins but would like to stil comment. .. Youtube lol for trading or earning? More videos you watch and articles you read better you will understand. You also need to trade it yourself or use practice app. I have crypto, but still feel I don't know shit about trading lol. I mostly hold. A better way to make bitcoin for me is act like you know about bitcoin and make youtube videos (affiliate). I made around $100 bitcoin from spamming a bitcoin link on Quora and buying ads in 2017. You could try faking amounts/just record a bitcoin graph. Can even try youtube commenting. I been seeing fake instagram comments that link to forex or bitcoin account. People are gullible and think "o I could make a lot of bitcoin," when really it hard. Dogecoin just blew up. After gamestop I everyone became "Wolf of Wallstreet." Can take this guys idea and put link to coinbase or other site.
. I think bitcoin should be held because I feel it is slowly becoming mainstream. Just gotta retail stores to hop on. But again expect Uncle Sam wanting some after it passes a certain amount. basically instead of trading for me, I would just pretend you are an expert and people will follow you. No jokes it can work. also create a shitcoin.

I think the easiest way to trade in a bull market is DCA (dollar cost average), just keep buying regularly. When BTC hits 6 figs, you can start selling regularly. This way you won't worry if you miss the top.

If you want margin trading with leverage using technical analysis, I think that's a whole different ball game. You need to put in a few thousand hours (1-3 years) of learning/practice before you'll be able to make money consistently, which will probably result in you missing on the bull market, losing money and probably giving up trading altogether.

Dollar cost average and buying btc is really good and that is what I am doing.
Learning will take 2-3 years got it, but where to start?

Learn risk management
Focus on % of profit, not amount of money
Always know why are you taking the trade, and where to put stop loss.

YouTube videos! You don't need no useless guru courses, just start searching the most obvious things and you will discover more to be learnt

Google cryptowzrd :) Might help

I dont think doing short term trading is a good choice. Long term trading is the way Imo.
Short term trade = Gambling,
no one knows what will happen in the short term.
But if bitcoin is a good asset, it will definitely go up in the long term

just started using etoro, were we can use virtual money and we can test everything. I tried investing in 10,000 virtual money and its now in loss of 1,000 :D

Just make sure you’re trading in a bull market to mitigate some of the risks/mistakes you’ll inevitably make.

If you’re new to trading and you try it in a bear market - it will be a disaster.
