This is just straight up dumb and wrong. Take a look at how the new M1 macbooks perform compared to similarly priced windows laptops. Better yet, raise the price range a couple hundred for the windows laptops and see the performance benchmarks. I don't even have a Mac too, I've built my past 3 PC's.

exactly , these m1 laptops are insane and priced so fair at the entry level, now if you want to upgrade things they get pricey but very comparable to their competitors!

Wouldn't recommend a specific one. Do your own research. Using a brick phone from 10 years ago for personal stuff and then iPhone/Android with dumb data & details works like a charm. A custom rom comes with pros but also cons.

It's safer because it's not as popular as Windows. If it was the most popular OS, people would make more malware for it and not for Windows. The same can be said about Linux. Simple.

If you want to avoid malware there's no need for a custom rom, just install trusted apps from Play Store and not random apks found on shady sites.
I would only use a custom rom for its features, not for malware prevention.

I don't understand why people fight between mac and windows. They both are good in their own way.

I personally like mac as I have a MacBook air which i bought in 2018, and it still works like a charm, like when I bought it.

Exactly. I personally don't like Apple products for several reasons, but it's just me. If you like them and you find youself at ease with them, that's grat for you. I don't mind.

I personally would never buy a Mac computer as I can make my pc to exactly what I need and upgrade cheaply as and when I want but I swear by iPhones.
