[Journey] From Zero to Hero - eBay dropshipping

Greetings,

So I have been a long time lurker, but finally decided to make a step forward and start doing something. Long story short, I have been unemployed for over 2 years now and haven't had any stable income whatsoever and it is time for me to either start making some online or get a job where I'd be earning pennies anyway and crushing myself (physically).

Having that said, I'm starting with having $0.00 to invest and only my goal in mind.

I will try to update this thread daily to see how I progress.

Daily target (min) for the first week (05/02-11/02):

• 10 new listings
• 2 sales

Day #1:

• Signed up for eBay as a seller and added CC as a payment method for fees and other stuff (?)
• Signed up for PayPal, but couldn't add my CC due to the balance being $0.00
• Created 1 new listing in eBay - mostly to test out the form and find out where and how I see stuff in the dashboard afterwards

Results: 1 listing active, 0 views

I think I can explain a way to get the funds fast and free.

You're need credit in pay pal of course..

What you do is look for niche on Amazon and then price compare on eBay,

You start to add items that sold cheap from Amazon or eBay.

You list the item on Amazon from eBay and list on eBay cheaper on amazon, so when sold you keep the profit.

When you get a sale you order from the low price and sell for higher as advertised.

Don't forget PayPal fees when selling add them to buyer.

You keep the profit or build up money on paypal for bigger methods or carry on buying and selling.

Does it make sense, you comparing both selling websites and then listing the item higher on the other to get the profit, when sold.

I admit take some time gaining high figures but just a method to earn on the cheap.

So your be selling and buying from both platforms but already listed items .

• Apparently at the beginning you can sell up to 10 items worth of $500 in total, which .. stopped me ..
• Apparently "hot" items aren't that "hot"

Status:

• 3 listings active - 8, 14, 20 views & 0 sales (of course)

IDK, but it seems like either I've chosen soooo wrong products or .. At the same time, all 3 products are from different categories. Not sure what's wrong.

It's a numbers game. You need to keep listing, and leave them up.
Check how many views you are getting.

No updates so far due to not being online as much as I'd want to, BUT most importantly - my eBay account got banned two days ago. I still don't get why I had my few items up and running for about a week straight with no changes or anything and then all of a sudden - boom!

Anyhow, this one has failed miserably and there's nothing much I can do about it now. Thought of creating another account, but since I'd still be doing the same - I guess it won't live for long if at all.

I just started a similar journey and yes I have the ZIK Analytics trial but I want fast shipped products but ZIK analytics seems to not show fast shipping products from aliexpress that can be compared to ebay

I use it to ''steal'' best selling products from other sellers. Then do better image editing, better SEO, better price. My goal is to post 1k listings by end of summer. I started EBAY this month, already made 3 sales. I think it's only going to get better because Ebay's algorithm likes sellers who post regularly and deliver on their promise of service as seller.

I think you got banned because your account is new. Ebay are strict these days. I would suggest you to get aged EBAY account with enhanced listing limits, also you can use CJ dropshipping as a supplier, which means better shipping times. Don't give up that easy, there's opportunity to make money, but you need persistence. Pressure breaks pipes, as they say.

but the stuff is the shipping time, how do you handle this? the aliexpress shipping time is sh*t, and is ZIK analytics a good investment? can I use different categories on ebay or I should focus on just 1 category?

I use CJ dropshipping, they offer better shipping times , there’s also Yak express you should try working with them.
I think Zik analytics is essential for product research, speeds up the process 100x plus you can really see what’s really popping in sells
