Gut Feeling About Siacoin (SC)

Even below 200 followers account influence others to buy and create hype. I've seen many accounts in the last week; all are noobs and they have no idea what is dogecoin, shouting and RTing every "Doge to moon" tweet. Crazy Twitter!

Lol. I like Dogecoin (always have) but that's definitely a newbie move lol. Dogecoin isn't meant to be financially valuable and it never will be. Those little pumps, followed by the HUGE Elon Musk pump are the absolute peak of Dogecoin......... But with that being said, I still like the meme coin lol :D

Still some people tweeting $1 before Valentine's day. I don't understand the logic behind this o_O

I also brought some SC today. Let's see how will work. Now -10% but i hope tomorrow will be a good day

Dude, if you had been around here during a crazy time (I think it was 2016 but not sure) when the crypto subforum was exploding you would have seen a lot of guys I know get banned for shilling and sending people to their "exclusive telegram groups".

You moved on to other things for years, which is normal and what people do, came back with a link to a twitter account that is pushing that coin and posted you had a feeling it was going to blow up.

You and I have a lot of water under the bridge and we both have a lot of respect for one another but you sure brought some smoke that made it look like there was fire.

I don't blame you, nor even have an issue with it but I see what I see and shared what I thought.

Still though if this is marketing it is not against the rules here on this level and if it is marketing and you bank from it I'm glad for you.

Not my approach personally but we are different people.
People should have more respect for BHW........DO NOT ALLOW SHIT PUMPS

It is. ALTHOUGH very hard to prove the case but it is in fact illegal.
No it certainly isn't. Promoting a cryptocurrency is not illegal in any country afaik. Where's the legislation saying it's illegal?

"Promoting" and "pumping" have 2 completely different definitions. Promoting is not illegal. Pumping is. Pumping is defined as providing misleading, deceptive, or false information in order to lure new investors to drive the price up before a "dump"....... This is also the reason it is hard to prove though, because people can say they were just promoting it

He's gotten charged for the equivalent of fraud for not disclosing he was being paid, not for "pumping" which isn't even a legal term or something you can be charged with.

If he had have said the exact same things except "I'm being paid by this project" or even if he hadn't said explicitly that he wasn't being paid, they couldn't have charged him with shit.

Promoting a crypto project is not illegal. Being paid to promote a crypto project is not illegal. Saying (fraudulently) that you are unbiased in your promotion of a crypto project, but it then turning out you made millions of dollar from doing so and used your social prominence to do so is illegal because you're essentially tricking people into buying something.

It has no reflection on him promoting the projects though, it's the way he promoted them that could be a problem. Tax evasion is 400 times more serious though so I'm guessing if he's sweating he's sweating about that part of it.

Guy needs to lay off the drugs for real.

That was just an example. As I stated earlier, "promoting" and "pumping" are completely different. And pumping IS illegal. Period. All there is to it. I'm not gonna go back in fourth about it. It just is what it is

Life doesn't work that way bud. You can't just say something is illegal because you say so. It's not. You don't have to go back and forth, you just have to produce legislation saying the words "pumping cryptocurrencies is illegal", or if you can't, at least be decent about it and just admit you don't really know what you're talking about.

I ran one of the biggest ICO listing sites throughout 2017/18 and we listed hundreds of different crypto projects and promoted all of them heavily. You're talking about my ex-business. "Pumping" isn't even a legal term for a starter mate.

Well it's not though is it.

I stand corrected lol. It's only illegal in the stock market. Just frowned upon in crypto....... Either way, I wouldn't want to deal with those problems lol. I apologize

No probs at all mate.. yeah one of the biggest upsides to crypto (if you can call it an upside) is the lack of regulation allowing a bunch of things that are illegal with stocks/foreign currency to be legal with crypto.

You had me second guessing my sanity there for a second ;)
