Best giveaway for Instagram?

Hello,

What is the best giveaway I can host for Instagram? I'm willing to gain a lot of followers in a short period and the best thing that popped in my mind is Giveaway. I have a Graphic Design page ( Personal Freelance ) & I'm willing to gain as many as followers I can in a very short period. I really care about my followers and I try to avoid audience that are not interested in my niche.

I'm targeting

Stores, Companies, Restaurants, Similar to my NICHE.

I thought of a Graphic Tablet, but the rest of my audience won't be interested.

They will not be interested, I tried to giveaway my personal pack once and I only gained around 100-150 per day & I don't want that. I have the budget of $1000 to spend

Why not invest that in ads so you can gain costumers instead of followers who only want to win the giveaway?

Then do not do Give Aways, or your account will be dead (ER, reach and so on).

Did you gain any customers from it?
How is the engagement going?

IMO that's a good result if you didn't push the giveaway through Ads, Mass DMs or what so ever.

I agree with you that they don't work together, That's why I'm lost.

100-150 for around 3-5 days
No customers from it
engagement is at 9% atm

That's the issue with give aways. And the ones who stayed are probably ghost-give-aways accounts. So it's all the same :/
