Then increasing the budget or getting shoutouts from other accounts instead of doing giveaways may be a better choice.
Everytime I think about doing giveaways (new account), I stop, thinking that getting followers uninterested in my products will hurt engagement. Some of the more experienced guys can perhaps back me up on this point. Is it not worth running a followers ad campaign instead? That way you get interested people too?

Of course it's better to run an Ad compaign instead. If you have the budget for it, ads can gather T1 followers (~0.5 $ / follower).

I tried running follower ad campaign for instagram but could not really figure it out which traffic type to use. Do you know?
