When Google's pagespeed score shows 31% (for mobile), gtmetrix says 91% structure and 98% performance. It's a client's site, so no screenshots lol. You have to take my words for it.

Lesson learned today: Do give it another check using another tool like Google page speed. gtmetrix is stupidly unreliable. :/

GTMetrix seems usability. Let's see, if in mobile your website doesn't fit right, or is not well mobile friendly, GTMetrix will rate it very poorly.

That is only a estimatition, you can't think they are constantly right.

That's I always use Google speed test tool and not GTmetrix

Agree you have to take the results with a pinch of salt. It's easy to get sidetracked by vanity but I think its better looking at the issues and decided whether or not they are actually problems. Also, you can normally tell if a site is loading fast or not.

Thanks for this - I will check both from now on and not rely on just GTMetrix

My most of the clients check speed on grmatrix and then ask me to fix those technical issues to boost the website . Why everyone uses gtmatrix? Idk

what's your client's website url?
what industry is he in?
how much is he paying you per month? or he is paying you a flat fee?
where did you find him from?
is he looking to change seo providers?

You should ask too for pictures of credit card front and back

Did he PM you about these details? Also asking for his paypal email and password.

What if Google page speed sucks
Nah, it is pretty accurate. I mean the site did have issues and we needed a base score to test against later on. I was amazed that the gtmetrix score was so high. It's an eyewash, not a tool.

Man you should also ask him about his girlfriends phone password. When you got those details comment here in this thread so the whole community can see them. :D
