How do you use tags on shorts?

I gained ten of thousands of watch hours from shorts, and what's the point? They are useless.
I also gained thousands of subscribers, but they are also useless as they don't convert on other longer videos.

Do you send them to a full video from your shorts? What could work is creating a #short from your longer video and adding 10 seconds outro saying "Full video" and a nice arrow to the full video end screen below. If you are getting millions of views and even only 5-10% will click on your end screens, it's still a big win.

it's not a bad idea, but:
1- Retention will drop as no one will watch until the end
2- End screens don't appear on shorts shelf, so it's useless. ( as 95%+ traffic is from there)

How many shorts do you post in one day? How many subscribers did you gain so far and were you able to monetize that traffic? (By uploading longer videos for example)
