Is watch time really that essential than having views?


e.g;
Let's say I had 1 video that has only 300 views but it generated a total 90hrs in watch time, so that means if the video is monetized but with a lot of watched time, it will generate revenue?

Watch time/Retention is 100% more important than the number of views.

You should be looking at your Average View Duration and CTR. These are what matters, not views.

300 views will definitely get more than a penny. Even more so depending on niche.

Average watch time spend is 18mins
Considering 18mins its a great watch time
Since don't know the total video length can't tell about it retention
If the video is 1 hour than its 20% retention is its 20 mins than 90% retention
Revenue depends upon the video topic,language,audience

check the the analytics time whether its from since published or last 30 days
check is there any dot between watch hour 9.0 hours may be
