No one can say if the channel is actually monetized. If you saw an Ad on a non claimed video it's probably because youtube has started placing Ads on non monetized channels as well. About two months Youtube announced that it will be placing ads on non monetized channels.

I dont know how to find. Many MCN doesnt need any credit at about section.
Big channels with this kind of content, joining MCN is a big win - win.
Youtube is crazy these days, if there is some where so i can stay under radar, i dont mind join them.

What's in it for the MCN? I spoke to some MCNs about partnering with a channel I had with reused content (with permission) and they all were not interested as they said YouTube would cancel their entire MCN.

$$ of course. These channels are in a yellow line, not really reused content.
May be your content is bad, or your channel isnt big enough for them to take a risk or you didnt find the right MCN.
Like MCNs i get in, let partners reuse others content to make $ from CID .
