also you say CTR is important. let's say i post a video like the one above, using a random word as title and no other keywords. it gets 0 (zero) impressions. how can a video get a good CTR if it has no impressions? how can you make youtube drive impressions to a video / topic that has no (or low) search volume.
So this channel has 1,000,000 subscribers. He doesn't need a good thumbnail or title to get views/impressions. His subscribers alone will handle all of that.
For newer channels, a Good Title, Attractive Thumbnail, and Good Quality Video are necessary.
Youtube will definitely send impressions your way. Whether people click on your video depends on your thumbnail and title. This is why you see a lot of newer channels use bright words and big faces.
You need to be creative and understand that newer channels and established channels work differently.
If the keyword/topic has low search volume, then that definitely makes things a bit easier as well.
