Being able to actually focus now I have decided to start a journey. Expect new updates every 2-7 days.
Channel Start Date: May 12, 2020

Current Stats (12/01-2021):
Subs: 297
Videos: 60
Total Views to Channel: 25.6k
Video with highest view count: 4,067
Lifetime Watch Hours: 519 Hours

Strategy:
Upload 1 video every week and stick to it

Goal:
Get Monetised by June 2021

Tools:
TubeBuddy Pro (Pro License)
Secret tool to improve impressions (also helps greatly with subscribers)

Stats are always from the time of writing - I can't be bothered to do an update the exact second Youtube updates my stats. I will, however, try my best to update at the same time every day (22:00 GMT +1). :)

Subs: 316 (+ 19 / + 3,37%)
Videos: 60 (0 / 0%)
Total Views to Channel: 25.8k (+ 102 / + 0,40%) (read update)
Video with highest view count: 4,110 (+ 43 / 1,06%)
Lifetime Watch Hours: 522 (+ 3 / + 0,58%)

What Happened Since Last Update?
I've started a Google Ads campaign for a video of mine, and in about 2 hours I got about 1100 views for about $11.50.
The results are apparently about 1100 views, +19 subs, and about 5 comments.
Apparently the "total views to channel" doesn't update that well, or that often, so it'll be a bit off today - so the update tomorrow will look extraordinary with the view count.

Since Google Ads views doesn't count towards monetization (does it count towards ranking?), I don't think I will keep the campaign going.

The sub to view ratio doesn't seem normal to me man. Are you using any SMM panel?
 
That's strange ratio. Are you buying views/subs form any panel?
 
what is your strategy to get views? SEO, buy views, promote video with google ads, promote organically, etc?

SEO, CTR Booster Views, just tried Google Ads (NEVER doing that again :D) & organic promotion

What Happened Since The Last Update?
Today we saw the result of the Google Ads in the total views to channel update. I can only see the number 27.2k, not exact numbers like I can on the "About" page of Youtube - but the "About" page updates way too slow. That hasn't updated for 3 days now.
 
Good luck man, we started the channel around the same time and we have the same goal to be monetized this summer!
A question: You did Ads on your video, how many hours have you gained for that 1100 views? ( i mean hours counted for YPP, not the direct one that don't count)

Woohoo, we go!
Yeah, I ran Ads - wouldn't suggest it. Got a good subscriber boost, yeah, but they don't seem active.
Views from Ads doesn't count towards YPP, sadly.
