Hi everybody.

I wonder how do you calculate the selling price of your websites?

Basicly as I know, you sell your website for its 12-24 months of profits, right?

So If you were me and let's say your website is doing about $100 in sales daily approx, how much would you sell it for?

It's an affiliate site with about 700 products for sale in it also about 50 articles with minimum of 1000 words each.

I really dont know how much to ask If I were selling.

About 30x monthly earnings is my number.

thank you for your answer. But It must be live and making those profits at least for the six months or so of course right?

Also where do you sell it best on?

If I were buyer I must have to check few things prior to buying:

1. Niche
2. Max Sales
3. Most important PRODUCTS

OP, if you are comfortable with sharing, disclose its more details...

no problem. I'm in cannabis industry in Canada. I've been managing my own online dispensaries for the last a few years but It was so hard to manage it and all stocks, inventory. So I decided to start for an affiliate site, had some great contacts with dispensary owners and started to promote their products. Also publish the reviews of their online dispensaries as blog posts. It seems started making revenue lately approx $50 to $150 daily. Not much yet but that means 2-3k a month. So I may think of selling my site, why not yea?

Maybe I can try BHW's right forum to sell it first and If I can't here then I will try flippa maybe.

Also maybe I must give it a few more months and see If the earnings are stablised. Otherwise If I were a buyer I wouldn't buy If It's not generating profits for at least 3-5 months.

Cool. I don't think BHW will allow you to sales cannabis related stuff here. There may be many addicted here of it but Diamond will not let
such think happens here. Rest you can discuss with Mod/admin, they can better guide you.

ah no problem then. No rush also. I will try to improve profits to $200-$300 daily first. Then I can try flippa.

Thank you for your answer btw scott2

Three to five months is not a track record that most buyers would consider.

12 - 18 months is really where you need to be in terms of proof that what you have has real value.

You could probably find a buyer with the short time you mentioned but it would not fetch you any real money unless you found a guy who was clueless as to how to evaluate the value of an online business.

Keep at it, bank while you have it and get some history so you can sell it for a decent buck.

well said! I agree with you. at least 12 months of stable income history sounds better to sell for more or at least the worth.

I would agree to buy a site which is generating profits since 3 months is not a bright idea. A stable site needs to have those sale for an year minimum and then expect 100K usd my best bet when planning to sell and negotiate to 80K, the new owner should have IM experises otherwise he would tank in the next year most probably. I dont know how others would rate the price.

Must be live of course.

As for 6 months I don't set a fixed period for that. I look at the revenue source and site history. If it's a churn n burn adsense site designed to get banned 15 days after I buy, then it's not a good idea to go forward with the deal.

Best place is BHW. Sell direct using a BST. If the amount is high enough, then an escrow is necessary.

Seems a bit unrealistic: 700 products in just 50 articles. Maybe you wanted to say 70 products in 500 articles?

Multiply by earning numbers.Depending on business type. Can be 5-50 times. Find what competitors want at empireflippers
