Go to AA/NA meetings in a second tier city and insert yourself into the void the poor lady is trying to fill with drugs or booze. Youth is what matters.
The one thing all older ladies (35+) want that none of them can have is being younger again themselves, because female beauty is so heavily tied to youth, and because the vast majority of people are pathologically self-centered.
This manifests in them frothing over younger guys (27 and below). As mentioned looks are important, but it's youth that really motivates them because it's the closest thing they have a their own personal fountain of youth (fucking younger guys makes them feel younger), and so I would say that as long as you were more physically and personally attractive than most other guys your age and you're younger than 30, that many cougars would happily go for you.
They're not holding out for the perfect 10/10 younger guy, just one that doesn't look like a foot and isn't overweight or has social anxiety.
If you're athletic, and most importantly, you have a youthful demeanour (excitable, you find it easy to have fun with people, confident but not necessarily typically alpha) then you'd do well with a lot of cougars that are actively looking for ayoung pole to sit on young guy to hang out with.
