I would guess their projects are going to be large scale in the $100k arena. I noticed they are a gold partner for another platform called WVIP (https://wpvip.com/) which appears to be effectively a hosting and infrastructure platform and looking at their pricing page, their plans start from $2k/month so it gives you an idea of what INPSYDE would be charging for their design & build services.

Find bigger clients. Website design is a good one - there’s clients out there with a $200 budget, there’s clients out there with a $5k budget and there’s clients out there with $500k budget.

Ive seen web developers who don’t take on projects of less than $250k in value. You just need to find those clients and provide them with what they need.

I say just, obviously it’s not that easy and I don’t know how to do it, or I’d be doing it myself. But I have already moved a few tiers up the ladder in terms of average client size and I will say that you have to turn down smaller work and leave some clients behind because you can’t market yourself to the guy that wants to pay $200 and the guy that wants to pay $20k because they’re both looking for something completely different.

Any other services that you can think of, say marketing strategy planning for large companies for a million dollars for work done over say 6 months?

I think you won't be able to invoice 1 million with only a 4 people team. You have to do big things to charge big money. To do big things you need more people.

Here in Dubai I've seen small shops with just one computer offering Govt. services like license renewals and ammendments etc for like AED 300 and there are these premium providers who do the exact same thing for 5000 to 25000 AED a pop plus govt fees. And some clients only go to the guys who charge the highest though the roadside guy offers the exact same service for much less. Its called premium pricing. Its also called capitalism if I'm right? Jeans sold in regular Indian stores for $30 get a Levis label stuck on it and get sold right next door for about $200. And people who wear Levis won't buy the cheaper one probably made from the same yarn as the Levi cos that shit gets exported around the world. Thats probably the sort of guys who should be targeted. Can't do it on Social Media. Will need to get into the inner circle where only word of mouth marketing would work.

Marketing strategy, content strategy, social media management, ads campaign management or any similar services. My strategy would be using whatever services you currently offer (And are good at) but just start looking at expectations of bigger companies and how you can offer the same services to those larger companies (At a much higher price). So you are not branching into something new that you don't understand, but rather just repackaging yourself and the services that you offer, so they appeal to bigger companies and/or to more lucrative clients.

The other option, thinking outside the box a little bit, is to find services that save companies money. For example, a friend of mine works in the logistics industry. They have some big corporate clients but what they do is go in with a strategy that streamlines logistics processes and saves lots of money in the process (Millions). So if you can do something like that where you are saving the company potentially millions of dollars, then you can charge accordingly for that service. Maybe there is some angle similar to that in marketing - ad spend optimization or marketing process optimization whereby you generate the same results for lower cost - but on a large scale for big companies.

They give good examples on how you can up your branding and repackage your brand to get bigger clients.

Also Jordan Belfort - so you know how to sale yourself. A good 2 hours of The Wolf of Wall Street can give you good insight on how to sell 'Urgency' and 'Desire'

Yes, gotta stick to what we know. I did have the brilliant idea of designing RISC SOCs with just cpu and ram and no gpu for servers and build a datacentre with it and make Intel and AMD RIP, then I realized it would take me years to figure out how to design an soc cos what I know about it is jack fucking shit and Jeff by that time would revamp the entire aws with an soc of his own

The highest I sent is $31K invoice for one month work. I still do send invoices on an average of $20K, every month, 4th week.

Number of clients: 1
Contract: 5 years signed ( till 2024 end )

My opinion is, Internet is still young. There's still a possibility of creating one website and making $1M out of it in 6 months. Yes, it can be done.

What I did and still do --

> Research: Spending more time on this. Almost 70% of work time. Nothing beats a good productive idea. If someone is already leading on that product already, create space for yourself like improving efficiency/time; Approach with finished product -- always make sure your service is the best they can get. This is fun if you enjoy research. It's addictive.

> Hire smart people. More respect! Bonuses!

> Travel more while working. It helps; Preferable mountains, island.

> Take it easy on failed idea.

I won't talk about specific way to research; But mobile, entertainment; Service, results; UI, content.

True - it's just that finding million dollar contracts is hard as fuck and normally catered for by agencies/software houses with 50 employees. Not that it's impossible, but just that setting up an automated system of dealing with multiple $xx,xxx clients seems more feasible.

Then again, maybe a month from now you'll have a million dollar job so who knows.
