Rank Math Pro vs Yoast Premium - Which is the best for local seo?

Hi all, I'm building a new site and wondering which one of these 2 plugins to go with?

What are your thoughts?

Its for a local site.....so seo will be targeted locally.

They do about the same things. I prefer RankMath for various reasons: better UI, the advice is more on point and lighter weight but comparable (if not better) functionality than Yoast.

RankMath Pro all day.

Funny how people compare the free version of RankMath against the premium version of Yoast and it was still a debate. Now that RankMath launched a paid and more robust version, I don´t think there´s even a debate to be made.

I am not saying you will do better with RankMath than with Yoast or that you will lose ranking by choosing Yoast over RankMath.

But, personally, I liked RankMath free version better than Yoast Premium. Now, is not even close.

• Better UI

Both are fine.
You can even code the schema by yourself is not a great deal, and when you understand how schema works, you will find that most extensions for this kind of topics, are a ripoff.
But Rank Math Pro is cheaper than Local SEO for Wordpress (the Yoast version for Local schema)

Although, I prefer the Local extension from The SEO Framework which is not cheaper than Rank Math Pro but since Rank Math are traitors that were supposed to be free forever as they marketed originally, I cannot have good works for them

Rank Math is 3x lighter than Yoast SEO, which means you're using Rank Math to get a 3x faster website. A sitemap for your site will be created by both SEO plugins and there is no obvious difference between their sitemaps. Nonetheless, Rank Math has a stronger UI and is thus simpler to deal with.

I have used the premium version of Yoast SEO for a long time. However, as a result of my recent experiences and sensations, Rank Math Seo can be better.

A plugin can be a whole gigabyte in size and not slow down your frontend at all. It all comes down to how much stuff it's doing when a visitor requests a page. In most cases you're using server side caching anyways so even that wouldn't matter much.

So will prefer the same
