Ban Covid-19 Anti Vaccination Posts

Some members posts on this subject are actually harmful and potentially cause risk to life. We are NOT all adults here and BHW is no place to stir up confusion on life threatening health matters.

Please add this to the list of banned discussion.

If social media is actively trying to close down posts from actors with ulterior motives, it is not something we should tolerate from naive reposting in BHW.

Honestly I'm just tired of seeing it discussed in general - unless it's covid talk about marketing/business specifically (impact, etc.), it shouldn't even be on this forum. I know the lounge exists, but the lounge should be a place to shoot the breeze with light-hearted discussion--not an extension of the same crap that's all over the rest of the internet. Just my .02

This has come up before and they are not against the 4 corners of the paper that the rules are written on but asking for a new or additional rule is reasonable.

I don't really agree with direct censorship of any medium social media or otherwise. But democracy rules I think.

Part of this forum is discuss things and topics out of IM world, and not limited to IM.

I prefer to be banned than keep contribuinting in a forum, that censors users and content.
Being anti-vaccines is not illegal, is my body. You can't decide who, where or what they will do or not.

This forum is for IM, but not everything. There are categories that are different content, if you don't like this kind of thread.

I don’t see why people struggle to ignore the threads they don’t like tbh.

Instead of you making a choice you don’t want to read something, and allowing other people to make the choice that they do, now you choose for everyone because you don’t like the topic of conversations you don’t have to be involved in anyway.

Biggest event of our lives. Pretty weird to spend this much time at a place and just ignore it because 10 people can’t stand to read titles with the word “vaccine” in them.

Put it to a vote and go with the result, but ppl should develop better coping mechanisms, how much cotton wool do you need? - it’s in the lounge ffs and no one is making you read it.
