Got Scam On Paypal $500

When you sell with paypal you have to assume that it's not your money until the charback period is over! Just asume they will do a fake scam it was no delivered and wait till that period is over then it's your money but until then there is no scam the money is not yours.

what would happen with the consequences, say he lives in UK what will happen?

Paypal will sell his debt to debt collectors who will try to get the money back...... sent latters and all that stuff and may sue him if not paid but for sure the negative balance will appear as well to other banks in the system so he can't take loans and so on.
I advice to pay back to paypal the money ......

Where I live is a standard procedure and everyone knows about it or do you think paypal will just say ..... oh we lost 500$ no matter?!!!. Also, I advise to done lite research ( you will find the same procedure is applied almost everywhere.

They will not write it off 500$ come on guys....... If you know about PayPal they will take some time before trying to get money from you and when they come after you it will not be 500$ it will be with penalizations so the bill will be maybe 1000$ or so. Try do your research in your country. In every country is a little different but is not like they will write off that amount . The only thing will happen is the bill will get bigger and you will cant use paypal and other banks because you have a bad tracking record. You must live in a fantasy world.

I dont think they wont care because every debt you have to paypal will be applied penalizations until it get big enough to worth recovering so is not a smart move.
