That’s a basic principle of thermodynamics. Two points to note: A absolute zero as it relates to any form of biology is unproven. B even if a system is at absolute rest it doesn’t mean entropy rates will be at zero too. Urgency was and is is certainly a factor.
But those results where also false positives, so not actually HIV, plus they abandoned the vaccine, so it doesn't appear to be money motivated.
If it was purely about money, surely it would have been covered up and continued as business as usual?

The text seems weird, is it a 7% true positive rate or a high false positive rate, or a combination of the two?
I'm assuming they are just checking temperatures? So won't show people who don't have symptoms, which is really a false negative and not a false positive.

How are they testing? If it's temperatures, then it's not really surprising. I would expect both the false positive and false negative results to be high.
