The follow/unfollow methods is old school and no longer works. You have to give value on twitter and your account will grow. Hope that helps.

Sorry, but you are wrong. Follow / unfollow works, always has and always will. Until people stop caring that they have a new follower and no longer check out who it was, it will keep working.
Maybe not as well as it did before when limits were higher, but to say it does not work is false

@rootjazz I must first apologize because I probably was not to clear in my response the word "false" seems to be loosely used around this forum. What I really mean is following and unfollowing will have little to no effect if you really want to make money on twitter. If the hopes is to build a following in hopes that they will share your content you will be waiting for awhile following/unfollowing does not make you any money on twitter unless you have nothing else to do with your time.
I totally agree with your though it does work... but it's not effective anymore... I've that using automated tools like Hootsuite has given the best return and helps be make money on twitter. But I stand down if you insist the strategy stills works.

Obviously it all depends. Niches, promotional technique all play a part. There is more to do than just F/U to be successful (whether that is make money / promote a service / gain exposure). As you say F/U does work, but whether it is effective for a persons needs, that may depend and also as you say, for some accounts / niches / promotion it may be ineffective for desired goals.

Did F/UF and Twitter stopped notifying people when I follow them any idea how long that lasts?

Yes, Twitter will stop notifying users followed if you abused automation. This a new shadow ban they have implemented to combat automation. There isnt yet quit a clear understanding of how long it lasts, what limits cause it, & ect.

"Supposedly" for the API, but are completely useless. These are theoretical limits that have no bearing on reality whatsoever in my experience with the API (and that was extensive 3 years ago or so when they closed it and made it request only)
