Thanks for your input...what about 100 years once renewal? where i can get to know more about itThere is nothing like permanent ownership.
Renew for 100 years at once.
X.com is not owned permanently.
Interestingly he is using GoDaddy.
Just renew it for 100 years may be? Should cost you about $900 which is pretty cheap. Emon Lusk spends that on toilet paper everyday perhaps. Thanks for your input...what about 100 years once renewal? where i can get to know more about it
every TLD have various max years to be registered - usually is around 10. Truth to be told longer than that is quite useless - in 100 years many things can happen, including entirely different way the Internet works so is kinda pointless. Thanks for your input...what about 100 years once renewal? where i can get to know more about it
How do you know he shits that much every day?Just renew it for 100 years may be? Should cost you about $900 which is pretty cheap. Emon Lusk spends that on toilet paper everyday perhaps.![]()

Jokes apart, a domain is like renting a small space where your server records are tied with a domain name. Unless you manage to buy icann off, you cannot really own it permanently.

tweet him to flip that domain, it could go in $MWhy doesn't he do anything with that domain? Could even redirect it at least
No actually I want to own a domain that I emotionally connect with not for businessevery TLD have various max years to be registered - usually is around 10. Didn't get your point but sounded good and trueSet up a perpetual trust and have the trustees keep the domain registered in perpetuity. Obviously the trust would cost some $ to set up, plus you'll need at least one trustee with a transition plan to keep it going with future trustees. You'd also need to have $ to run the trust (i.e. file tax etc) every year.
Not really cost effective, but possible.
for the long term, I want to own for at least 100 yearYou don't own them, you just rent them.
Great, can you link me the source, i will take a lookYou can own a eu.org domain permanently. Its also free. I own one.

But can everyone buy that? I remember some tlds required us to be a citizen of that country/area.You can own a eu.org domain permanently. Its also free. I own one.
It's free and not related to EU.But can everyone buy that? I remember some tlds required us to be a citizen of that country/area.
Why would someone buy $900 worth of toilet paper each and every day?his problems should be pretty gross..Just renew it for 100 years may be? Should cost you about $900 which is pretty cheap. Emon Lusk spends that on toilet paper everyday perhaps.

His employees probably have to wipe his ass every hour. Considering he has more than 1000 employees and the current scarcity of Toilet papers in most part of the world, it doesn't seem too inappropriate to me.Why would someone buy $900 worth of toilet paper each and every day?his problems should be pretty gross..
