Here is an interesting read on ETH. I own some Ether and I love how much faster Ethereum is than Bitcoin.
On a separate note, I see Coinbase is trying to encourage giving XLM a shot. They literally give you $10 worth of Stellar if you watch a 5-part mini-tutorial on XLM and answer common-sensical quiz questions about it. XLM is currently on a dip. While not intended to be financial advise for anyone else, I just "bought the dip".

Oh, and all that being said, neither of these are my favorite coin.
