Welcome to my journey to reach at least 125$ per month ( this is just a small goal to keep me motivated, I will keep increasing the target every time I reach it) with KDP, Without investing any money.

sorry for the bad English, and the terrible formatting. My brain shutdown every time I try to write.

My plan:

I will be mainly working with books that take a little efforts to make like log books and activity books (coloring / puzzle books) since I don't want to compete with people who already have thousands of merch designs and mass upload them to KDP with the same Notebook interior.

My best book Is a coloring book with funny curse word targeting the gift market. I published Two with the same interiors, both sold in the next two days. Which means this is a really good niche. gonna upload more with the same coloring pages just different words).
Took few hours to make, I just mixed few coloring pages I found on Pinterest with a random quotes I also found on Pinterest.
I don't know if it's selling because of q4 and people are buying gifts, or because it's priced low. I'm very scared to increase the price soon and cripple the book from getting a good ranking. But I also don't want to keep earning 0.8$ for each copy, what if the book stopped selling when the year ends. What do you think should I do?

I'm very happy with this months earnings since I only been uploading ~2books a day, until last week when I started uploading about 5 books a day. Hopefully I will increase that to 7 per day in the next months once I have more interiors and covers ready to use.

Goals for next months:
- Upload at least 150$ books.
- at least 20 puzzle books.
- at least 10 coloring books.

Stats for the month of October.

Books published : 3
Unit sold: 2
Earnings: $3.2

That's called beginners luck.

Stats for the month of November.

Books published : 29
Books waiting for review : 45
Unit sold: 22
Earnings: $26.97

Good Luck Bro!!

Please, your English isn't bad at all and you started well.

Many complain of not selling even a single book after months, so you def doing a good job.

May I ask what software you use in making your books?

I'm on similar journey with one of my projects. I have 5 books published so far, I will be doing a mix of high content books and Low-Content/Activity books. I've gotten two 30k's non-fantasy out and 3 low content titles. Plan to bunker down soon.

Good luck bro I'll be following.

good luck im having the same journey
with 300 book published in 2 month all most 500$ in revenu
May i ask you what kind of books do you published? all the 300 are low/ no content?
and what is the best low content categorie to work on ( coloring? puzzles? logbooks? ..)

May I ask what software you use in making your books?
I use photoshop for cover design, illustrator to design interiors, and inDesign to format books and soon will use it to create calendars and planners.

Small Update

Tonight I will increase the price of one of my best sellers to earn 1.3$ instead of 0.5$. Let's hope it keep selling).
Expect an update every 3 days.

Good luck I'll be watching. I'm amazed how much you got for just a few sales, what is the price per book on average?

for log books I try not to price lower than 6.99 but sometimes I price at 5.99 just to see if the price makes a difference (it doesn't).
and for coloring books I try to price very low then increase the price once my book has a good ranking.

I don't know how to calculate average xD, so here is a list of all the books that sold this months(first 3 days)
7 units from a coloring book priced at 5.15$ (I earn 0.8$)
5 units from a coloring book priced at 4.58$ (I earn 0.5$)
2 notebooks priced at 6.99$ (I earn 1.9$)
1 logbook priced at 6.99$ (I earn 1.9$)

Congrats on the sales, wish you a splendid Q4.[/size]

Thank you. I'm not really into graphic design, I started learning illustrator and inDesign just a month ago.
Most on the work I do can be done using one tool. The only reason I'm using 3 is because I only know enough to get the task done.

Very interesting journey, good luck!

Books waiting for review : 45

Does this mean waiting to be reviewed by you or Amazon? If the latter, how long does Amazon usually take to review a book and do you get any rejections?

Books need to be reviewed by amazon for copyright and stuff.
only two of my books got rejected after a review because the book title was different than the title in the cover.
