Yes, but this is not the principle of the OP's method. (If the real address owner finds out its you listing there, it is 'an issue'!
)If you start off by selecting an address wherever you desire your listing to be WITHIN EUROPE as stated by the OP.
You create your own listing at the address you find that looks good to you - in a high demand category service industry.
You can go to a place where you can buy a service (gig) from people who know other ways than using a post card to verify the GMB service address for you.
THAT step is incredibly important - do not believe anyone saying that another method will work - it will not.
(Unless of course you live in Europe or have a 'friend' living there who does not mind 'lending' you their address to have hundreds of business's listed as operating from their home - good luck)
There is no need to go to CL to get some sketchy person to maybe help you - but lose your money instead.
Once verified, build out and optimize the listing - or get another service provider here or elsewhere to optimize it for you....
DO NOT FORGET TO USE
1. Fresh Gmail account which was never used for GMB or G maps.
2. A Good vpn to avoid your IP blacklisting - time to hide where you really are...

Fair enough, do you think contacting people on facebook buy/sell/trade marketplace groups is also an effective way of getting addresses?

About step 2...
There are several here selling proxies at very cheap price. Would that work too? My doubt is if Google is actually registering the ip at the time of the GMB creation or actually checking the ip everytime you do anything on it, which would make the proxy useless i guess. Moreover, how do we know that Google hasn't already blacklisted the ips offered by VPN providers?

Yes I did the same for the only GMB i ever tried to verify. I told Google on the phone thAt I was the manager.
Where i live the infamous verification letter never ever arrives (that happened to everyone I checked with), probably they don't even try and just wait for you to do the phone verification. If this was the case, i could literally verify a hundred GMBs in a month across different countries just by creating Gmail accounts (i can use my IP for all of them, because I'm the manager... ) And call back in two weeks for the phone verification.
This sounds too good to be true. Am I missing something here?

That's very misleading, peoples like me who actually tried that know that the problem with doing this is that the front of the building receiving the postcard needs to match the business you’re promoting. Hell you don't even need CL to verify that by yourself, just ask nicely to one of your facebook friend.
