The question is, why would anyone who is getting $10.000+/month why would he/she wanted to sell his/her channel?
If I was you I will for sure do some deep investigation and get as much info as I could.
I am sure there is something behind it and there is a good reason why someone wants to sell it. (I also might be wrong)
Just my 2 cents.

Hm...
Such channels are very difficult to sell because the price between the buyer and the seller is usually a huge difference.
This seems like an ok story but, it’s a huge amount of money at stake to buy something just like that because you trust someone’s word.
When I would buy I would ask him for everything except the password and email address hehe
But seriously, I would have to make sure of everything and the seller if he is serious and has nothing to hide but really wants to sell the channel, will show you everything you want to see.
Not sure what to say about the price, maybe someone else would suggest.
Again, I could not think about the price because the first thing would be "let me get all the info I need".

When you negotiate, you should consider that he got 742k traffic more than usual last month with RPM around $0.0075 (12k / 1.6m). His revenue is on the rise, almost 200% increased traffic but it will dry up / back to normal eventually. It is indeed a good time for him to cash in.

So if channel makes approx. $10K its selling
price would be estimated to $180K.
But its just standard that YT channel owner would
except as lowest possible offer. But owner can ask
much more based on channel potencial. So for buyer
18 X the last month revenue report price is good deal.
