He is asking almost the triple of that, i guess it is bad deal.
how much is this channel worth ? any advice?

The owner knows its potential, based on revenue history
and current numbers of subscribers, views etc. And he
estimates that it will rise with time, so selling price is much
higher. It can still be good deal if you know that it will
continue to grow under your management.

2. the channel has high earning potential + can continue the same way.
3. obviously the price will be very high. people can sell such channels for even 300k to 400k and people will buy coz if the channel is run by your own management and continue the same niche and farm money.
it can bring passive income.
risk factors to consider:
1. idk the channels current performance. some people sell channels when it gets shadowbanned/channel dies off.
so when you upload videos, you dont get much views anymore. so you will pay 100k+ for a dead channel and you lost your money as it barely will bring anymore income.
this is very common and happens.
some people sell dead channels on marketplaces whose metrics have all crashed. even with good content the channel does not reblow. its dead.
yt killed it off.
but in some cases can be revived.
2. if he ask u to pay via btc or bank. transactions irreversible.
they will charge you the money and u send them, they will give u the channel.
once u get the channel, few weeks later, they will go to support forums and claim that channel is hacked and re claim it back.
now he gets to keep your money and the channel.
when you deal with such transcations be careful.

Why would anybody making enough a month to be well off ANYWHERE in the world ever sell? Unless you have a good reason to trust this person I wouldn't deal with him
